Trails End Pizza

Funny thing is we had dinner one night at TE and on the buffet, they also had Pizza. It was just like the one we had ordered a few days earlier. So now I am NOT liking the Pizza. The kids are okay with it though, so .... Whatever!

How cool this thread is still going. I guess TE pizza leaves a lasting impression on folks.

Any way, we've decided to not risk it. DW picked up a few Papa Murphy's the other day and they're going in the freezer for the trip. If we don't eat them at the Fort, we'll bring them home and have a pizza Christmas!

My best tip if you order the pizza is to order less than you normally would (2 vs 3). The pizza is VERY heavy on the crust and is VERY filling. My kids, all boys, can manage at most, 2 slices, as opposed to half a pizza at home. I'm going to be honest, I don't buy this because it's pizza, I buy this because it feeds our family of 6 quickly and conveniently for about $25 (of my memory still works) and for Disney, that is a HUGE feat. BIG however - the giddyap and go chicken is AWESOME and should be chosen whenever possible.

WOW... You really have it out for the Pizza, don't you. Oh wait, I get it now... It puts terror into those that eat it... that's how the NSS gets trained. Training by Terror (aka - Pizza)

Have never tasted the pizza at TE as it's not something on our radar at Disney - too many other tasty offerings (to us anyway). Can't say from 'looking' at it though that it could be that bad or much different than run of the meal pizzas. Would rather have a fresh 'take & bake' from our local grocer than most I've eaten out - I always 'add' extra toppings and cheese to them anyway.
