It depends. Are you planning on going to Ft Wilderness to do other things? If so then personally I would pick Hoop dee doo then Trails End next. If you aren't going to Ft Wilderness for anything else then Whispering Canyon. Have fun!

I wanted to do Hoop Dee Doo but we're on the DDP and its 2ts credits and we're already using 2 credits on Narcoossee's :/

I am in the same boat. I really wanted Hoop Dee Doo, but I am planning Yachtsman. We don't go for awhile, so that can change. Anyway...since I am being stubborn, I am paying OOP for HDDR. I must go. LOL. Now, for the food/experience. We did Whispering Canyon a couple of years ago. They have since changed the all you can eat skillet. It was very tasty when we had it. My husband opted for the steak and it was delicious. The interaction we had with our waitress was wonderful. It was my 40th birthday and my children (brats that they are) made sure to say it loudly to our waitress. Her name was Kate and she was a lot of fun. Trail's End was also very very good. We had that last September. The fried chicken is awesome and again we were there for my birthday. They brought me out strawberry shortcake. It was unbelievable. And from what I understand, the strawberry shortcake at HDDR is even better. Trail's End is not the easiest restaurant to get to, but I think it's worth it. Based on the two of them, that's what I would pick.

Also depends do you want to order off the menu or a buffet? WWC does have their platter. Been to both and the overall food quality is better at WCC and the interaction is great. Also the point made before about it's location is a good 1 Trails end is not as easy to get as WCC

We love WCC lunch menu and trails end's breakfast. WCC platter is fine nothing spectacular but good food. Trails end is just so so for dinner. I agree with HDDR great food and an entertaining show. I vote HDDR!!

I also think it depends. WCC if you have a celebration. They will make it memorable. If anyone in your party has allergies or is a vegetarian, then TE hands down (though research when Chef TJ works). You can get to TE easily from WL or MK. There is a fun wagon ride, the barn, and pony rides for little ones near TE, too. My family is going to TE next trip, not WCC. Though, if we were staying at WL, we would do both! I don't normally care for buffets, but found TE easier to manage than most. It is slightly smaller and more centrally organized than most. Food highlights there (besides the amazing courses brought out for two diners with food allergies) were sliced beef, caesar salad, corn bread. There was more, but those three were worth the visit alone. The dinner menu at WCC is less appealing to my family. Good shakes, and I enjoyed a quesadilla and the chip appetizer, but there just wasn't much we were tempted by. Now breakfast, on the other hand at WCC, awesome!

We've been to WCC a few times for dinner, food hit or miss, but still a fun experience. Got a last-minute ADR for TE dinner on last trip, hadn't been there for years and we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality/variety of the buffet. On next trip we would definitely choose TE over WCC.

Trails End was one of our favourite places from our trip last May. We have a teenage boy that will eat anything not nailed down so we did several buffet type places that trip. And Trails End was awesome! My middle DD loved the baked potato bar, and all around the food was great. It didn't seem super busy or crowded either, which was awesome!

I hope Trail's End never becomes super popular because it's so awesome, I want it all for myself. Nothing like taking the Magic Kingdom boat to Trail's End at 6:30 at night - great sunset, all the lights are coming on, and great food. A win all around.

I like the quick and mellow feel of Trail's End for lunch. If I want a more involved lunch or more of a dinner atmosphere I go with Whispering Canyon.

We always enjoy our food at Trails End and will be doing one breakfast and one dinner for next trip

We always go to both when at WDW. Either one is a good choice!
