Could someone give me some info on the Trails End Buffet? If you have been there, how was it? How much, is it worth the time to go over to the campground, and what is served. Also times of serving. We are staying at the CR so the travel time is not that big a deal possibly. As always, many thanks.

A moderator will probably move you, but check on the restuarant forum. I know I have seen many positive reviews there.

Enjoy!

Trails End is one of our favourite places to eat . The lunch price is around $ 9 and you get q very good selection.WE usually go from the MK by boat, at the dock it is about 200 yards away. This march we stayed at the WL and popped over for lunch a couple of times. The lunch starts at 12:00 .I am not sure about supper.I hope that you try it. Enjoy.

I'm going to move you to our restaurants board, pinboys.

You're good InstImpres :teeth:

We had dinner at Trail's End about 2 weeks ago on a Sat. night. We had a party of 9 and waited only about 20 minutes as they do not take any PS's. The service was wonderful, the food choices limited for a buffet but everything was very hot, fresh and tasty. The kids loved the fried chicken and ribs. The fish they had that night was wonderful( usually a dish I avoid on a buffet.)I beleive the cost was 14.99 for adults and 5.99 for kids. I could be off a bit though because we have a DDE card and I don't know if that was before or after the discount. I do know for a disney meal it was pretty reasonable. I would certainly make the trip over to Fort Wilderness again for this delightful meal.

This is one I want to try this coming trip -
For the food
For the price
For the boat trip from MK
For the campfire singalong and movie

Therefore I was thinking of dinner - but which is the best meal to go for?

Sue

I am a breakfast guy, so I like to go for breakfast, but I have not had a bad meal there. So I guess it depends on what you have planned. Since you are interested in the campfire program, Dinner would be the best bet for you.:D

Does anyone know how you get to Trails End from WL. How long does it take to get there?

Thanks,
Katherine

I believe your options are: bus, boat, or walk the trail (I think it's about a 1 mile stroll).
