I like it. Not fine dining. You have to sort of "get" the ft. wilderness atmosphere. It is easier to get to from the boat from wilderness lodge than from ft. wilderness on the internal bus. The service is friendly. The food is good comfort food - ribs, mac and cheese, fried chicken, chili, peel and eat shrimp, pizza, usually something extra on the "cutting board." Its good for parties with a range of people - kids to older folks, because most everyone will find something to like, it is straight forward. Don't expect boma flavors of africa or akershaus pickeled herring or Chef Mickey characters. But do expect good sweet tea and overly sweet corn bread. Fun to come over to the fort and see the petting zoo, etc., a slower pace than a lot of wdw.
Oh, the pizza is kind of standard wdw pizza, cheese or pepperoni. Your not going to come back and write a post about how great the pizza is, but your not going to turn it down, either.
