Well when you in Fla. (on I10) Walton county around mile 87 or so, when the middle is a wood line I would get in the Fast lane (no matter what spead your driving) if it is raining. The semi's have made indenches in the pavement and its a long slope and it causes water to build up. I cant tell you how many MVC's I'v been to along this strip of hwy. I think a state trooper told us one time it is has the most MVC's of any strip of I10. Just look at the pine trees to see how many have been hit. Its all most always when it is raining.

Another thing to let you know is that in Louisiana it's illegal to drive in the left lane, and is reserved only for passing. Also, near Baton Rouge, I-10 splits into I-10 towards New Orleans, and I-12 towards Slidell. I-12 can save you an hour, 2 hours, by bypassing New Orleans. And traffic in NOLA can be a nightmare. Also Baton Rouge, is a traffic nightmare.
