I was Merch and that's how my schedule worked out. I was a little annoyed because I wanted to go ahead and start training and get to know my work location, but in the end it was nice because I got to enjoy the parks before I starting training.

I found out on day two at Vista when I got my training schedule. Someone walks you through where you go the first day, what bus to take to get there, what to wear, and what shoes you'll need to get for your role...all of that information is on the training schedule as well.

I found out what shoes I needed during Discovery Day (Day after Traditions)

He could always check on the HUB to see what he should be wearing at his location. There is a section which pretty much shows all of the costumes.

He won't have access to the Hub until after the first day of training (Discovery Day at Epcot, other places are called different things)
