Trading Spaces...who won from last week?

I missed the first 45 minutes of this weeks show. Who won last week...yellow or lavendar????


Can any one fill me in on the challenges for this week???

The Yellow Team won.

One of the challenges was a Fabric challenge where they spun a wheel and were supposed to use that fabric as 51% of all fabric in the room. The red team got an "ok" fabric but ended up not using any fabric at all. The blue team got a horrendous plaid, but Laurie (the designer) came up with the idea of braiding it into a rug.

There was also a thrift store shopping challenge where they were supposed to buy something from a thrift store and something from a High End store and them make them look the same. The light blue team made an attempt to make two chairs look similar. The red team bought two wine glasses. Both teams didn't spend near the amount they were supposed to. The red team gave over $1k in cash to a lady at the thrift store -- the blue team just way overpaid for a used chair.

Thanks for sharing...I missed the first 10 minutes of the show and was wondering too.

I starting watching the eppy really hoping that Angela and Smitty would do better. I wasn't too keen on Lt. Blue's ideas last time (although they did deserve an "A" for creativity on using fruit, coffee, etc. to dye the faux finish on the walls) and I thought they won out of default because Ms. Orange was so annoying.

This time, I really didn't like the fake tree, but the rest of the room was really pretty. Red's room was nice, but they copped out on both the fabric and the high-end/thrift store challenge. I ended up voting for Lt. Blue because they did better on the challenges.

Thanks. I will try to watch the repeat on Saturday. I was in Orlando all week and we had only been home for a short time and I never di reset my watch so by the time I remembered to add an hour to the time on my watch the show was almost over!! I did vote for the blue team just because it seemed more creative.
