Trading in PH for the Ap

Yes you can. They will give you credit for any days left (based on a percentage of what you originally paid and how many days are left...say you have 3 days left on a 5 days hopper, you would not get a credit for 3 individual day prices, but you get 3/5ths of what you paid originally).

We traded in our 5 day PH for annual passes after our first trip down. It was fairly painless, except that the exp date on our AP's was wrong (it was good only for 3 months for some reason - not 12 months past our "activation date") so be sure to double check your passes before you leave the ticket window. A quick trip to Guest Services corrected the problem.

I know you can usually trade them in towards an Ap. But i was wondering if you still do this with the new dvc ap?

Its not a DVC AP, simply a DVC discount so nothing has changed except it will cost us less money. :cool1:

If you want verification from someone that has actually traded in old PHs for a new AP with a DVC, it will have to be after the 2nd of course, but I am sure nothing has changed in this respect. Heck, the whole point of all that is going on right now is to get the old PH tickets off the market and go to newer bioscan ones (or whatever the finger shape identifier is called...sorry - blanking on the official name right now).

There isn't really a "new DVC AP"- it is the regular AP (or PAP) but with a discount provided to DVC members. If you want to upgrade hopper passes, as noted, you will get a credit for the unused days on the old pass plus the DVC discount. The total of those amounts will be deducted from the cost of the AP at time of purchase.

Enjoy!
