trading for annual pass

Can I exchange my 7 day hopper I purchased for an annual pass when I get there? how much?

You will just pay the difference depending on which annual pass you want. There are three different types available.

I'm going to move this to the main forum rather than the hotel boards. But Yes, you can upgrade at Guest Services at either park. You do just pay the price difference.

fyi, i was able to not only trade in the (unused) multiday tix that i had bought @ discount from AAA...

also, able to combine with a coupon/promo that was running last summer for BOGO year APs

Can you exchange an old (unused) 3 day toward an AP renewal fee?

I bought them a few years ago thru AAA but then the US website kept offering great deals like "buy an adult ticket, get a kid's ticket free." We did that 2 years in a row then they offered BOGO APs so we got them. Wouldn't mind cashing in the old tix to renew. Is it still $99 to renew a Pref. AP?
