Hmm well:
1. There's a thread at the top of The VMK Trades and Wishes Board titled: VMK Beta Guide compiled by our very own aengus. On that thread, it states the following:

BETA items that came back on sale temporarily after BETA period

Blue Rocker (resale in February 06, host prize in January 07)

So yes, the Blue Haunted Mansion Chair was beta, but it was rereleased and is no longer considered as rare as it might have once been.
