Is it kid friendly?
We have a 2 year old who LOVES the Tiki Birds and thought this might be a better option to save my sanity rather than repeated Tiki Bird shows.
I know they before 8pm children are welcome but do they have high chairs and somewhat child friendly?

I would say its not child friendly. We were there a few weeks ago and its nothing like the Tiki room. Also there arent any real tables. Most are lounge tables(coffee tables) Then there's a high top "surf board" table and then the bar.

There's "real" tables on the patio, but that would be away from the décor of the inside which sounds like is your reason for going. They only serve drinks and appetizers so I'm not sure if they have high chairs? It's not a substitute for Tiki Room, and it's not in the same vein as Rainforest Café or T-Rex either.

Im gonna be there next weekend and I am debating just using poly sitter service for a couple of hours just so I can experience having a drink there. I would feel kind of weird taking my 6 yr old in any bar setting disney or not.

I took my 9 year old and he read a book until another couple with a kid showed up and then they played games on our phones while we had a couple of drinks. The atmosphere was fun and my 9 year old even enjoyed it but I wouldn't bring very young kids or ones that wouldn't sit at a table and occupy themselves somehow. Just my two cents.

I brought my 7 and 13 year old. They liked it but they got a lot of the corny jokes. They like the jungle cruise so I knew they would like this. I wouldn't bring a 2 year old though. It might be boring for them. There's no similarity to the tiki birds.

I believe that children are not allowed in Trader's Sam's inside area after a certain time. I think it's 9:00 not sure if that's still the case. I didn't see many of them in there. Mostly adults but I saw a small boy who quietly sat with his parents while they had a drink during the early hours. Trader Sam's tiki terrace has no restrictions. Not a lot of tiki birds in there so I don't think it's a good version of that.

I don't know if I would call it kid friendly. No high chairs either
