I saw this today and must get one (or more)

Does anyone know if I have to order the drink to get the cup or can I just buy the cup?? Also we may eat at Tangora Terrace and have drinks on our first night there. I know there is very limited seating in that area... Are there other tables on the property to sit and eat for non hotel guests? I'm expecting it to be a bit crowded at 7:00 PM on a Saturday...

That's so cool! Don't know the answer your question but I need one of those.

AHHHHHH must have!!!

Last year at Trader Sam’s they let me buy an additional “zombie” specialty mug without ordering two drinks.

Hopefully there is an item limit (1 per person type thing) on these so they don’t sell out too fast! I won’t be there until October 2!

When I bought the shipwreck mug you had to order the drink and they wouldn't sub the alcohol. They also wouldn't sell a kid at another table the tiki mug with a non-alcoholic drink.

I just purchased the 60th anniversary mug on it's own by request last Saturday and while offered a drink order was not required to do so.
I also got my 15% AP discount since it's still a Food and beverage item due to no "merchandise" being sold.
I hope this helps.

Does anyone know if they are selling them yet? We are going out tomorrow as that is the official start day of Halloweentime. I figure 2:30 or 3PM before the work crowd shows up. I wonder if there is a limit because I already have an order from a friend in New York who PM'd me the link.

I have a feeling someone else who is already on the thread may want one too. :rolleyes1. I have no problem drinking as many drinks as it takes to get them! :lmao:

I plan on being at Trader Sam's tomorrow night. Please Tinkerbell!! Send allllllll the pixie dust so that there will be mugs then!

Rumor is they are available starting tomorrow. There are only a limited number and there are already pre-orders on ebay :furious:which totally ticks me off!! I won't be there until Sept 30 so I don't hold out a lot of hope there will be any left.

I'm going next weekend and really hoping they are still available then. I'm considering going down this weekend just to get one for my friend who needs one.

I hope there is a limit... I won't be there until the end of the month either...

I also think that these are going to sell out quickly, but hopefully they ordered enough to get through at least a good portion of HalloweenTime. While I think a limit would be nice, I'm not sure how they could enforce it. They could do a limit of 1 or 2 per transaction, but it would be hard to limit the number a guest could purchase in a day.

Hopefully they don't just let people "buy" them and you have to purchase the drink. As I said above, we're going out there tomorrow and I'm prepared to have a couple drinks (if they let you) since far away friends have already contacted me about it since they know we live close. Plus I want my own to add to our Tiki Mug collection!

I don't really know if matters whether you have to have the drink or not. I suppose for the re-sellers they wouldn't want to have to wash the mug, but other than that, I'm not sure it really matters if you buy the mug empty or buy it with a drink inside and pour the drink down the drain. I can't imagine that they'd sell the empty mug at a discount, so the price is the same. I still think something like a limit of one mug per guest per transaction is one of the few ways to limit the number of mugs people can get.

Sounds like fun! We haven't been here yet, maybe we'll have to try on our next trip!

For the people doing pre-orders on Ebay, how do they know that they're going to get enough to sell to people? It says that they've sold 17 in the past 24 hours. I hope they limit how many each person can get so they can't buy them all up. That isn't right.
