Trader Sam's Grog Grotto - Worth It?

We loved it! So much fun. Make sure you get there at least 30 minutes before opening to get in as soon as it opens. As you are called, your group will enter and find a seat somewhere.
We were seated at the bar ans it was so much fun! The bar staff are awesome. Didn't try any of the food, but the drinks were very good. Loved all of the gimmicks.

Another aspect of Trader Sam's that makes it special is the enormous amounts of detail they have put into it. There are a ton of references to the defunct 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea ride/movie, the angry Tiki goddess from the old Enchanted Tiki Room has taken up residence and there's a callback to the days when skippers on the Jungle Cruise ride would fire a pistol to scare away the hippos. If any of these ring a bell then you will find a lot to love at the Grog Grotto.
