We will be there in 2 weeks and have eaten enough French food so without knowing what to expect we changed it up to the Teppan Edo place. It looks fun on youtube. Hopefully it will live up to expectations.

We at the there in September 2014 for our honeymoon. It is good and we enjoyed it. It's basically like any other hibachi grill with maybe some higher priced options you don't always see (I had sword fish.)

One thing that isn't advertised for Teppan Edo is that they don't have fried rice. I was quite surprised the first time I ate there and they told me that since that is my favorite part of a hibachi meal.

We can get good French food around our neighborhood, but 'fun' is a more difficult request.

Biergarten (music) & Marrakesh (belly dancing) are fun too.....

Fried Rice is a Chinese food and not served at a traditional Japanese Teppan restaurant. They also don't serve soup as an appetizer.
We enjoy it very much.

I enjoyed the food a lot I love hibachi, I was just surprised because I've never been to one that didn't serve fried rice. I guess none of them in America are very authentic.

We love Teppan Edo. Even though we have a great local teppanyaki style restaurant in our town, TE is a must do for us. The food is always great and served piping hot right off the grill-important when you travel with an old man! :rolleyes1 (ps it is my dad)

Accepts the dining plan, but us TiW folks are out of luck. Still worth it for us

For what it's worth, Japanese fried rice is known as chahan, and it's super common there. It's not exactly the "fried rice" served in most American hibachi restaurants, but it's a nice and simple dish.

Its the first restaurant on our ADR list every year. Last year we even went twice after a horrendous experience at LTT meant we had a spare TS credit. I love it, try te yum yum sauce!

I didn't really like it. I thought the food wasn't very good or very good quality, except for the sushi which actually comes from Tokyo Dining next door. It is kind of fun, but I really prefer Benihana.

I'll take it over Benihana or any other chain "hiabachi" places. TE is our first ADR always to book when we are going to WDW, I have been to Japan several times and it totally takes me back to our visits.
