Trade Problem

Isn't this just typical. I matched/confirmed a trade to the Royal Sands in Cancun for May 29, 2010 to June 5, 2010. I was able to get a 2 bedroom for 160 points (I had requested a 1 bedroom.)

Of course, this was before the switch from II to RCI. Now we can't go on those dates! (Swim camp is the EXACT same time.) Does anyone know what my options are? I wanted to check here before I call Disney because many of you guys seem to know more that Member Services and I want to have all my ducks in a row before I call.

I don't know for certain and I doubt anyone does. AFAIK, this is the first 2010 trade to come up as an issue. Those with trades later in 2009 were given limited to no options if they cancelled. My guess and it's just a guess, is you'll have to either take something in the next 2-3 months or simply lose it. And you can't rent it out. You might call the Royals directly and see if they'll let you come another week (doubt but worth a try) but if so, get it in writing. Let us know what you find out.
