Well, with Windows 11 release forthcoming, it appears my Windows 10 laptop will become obsolete in October. So although I may not trade in my laptop, I might be obligated to pay for the updates.
I wish Microsoft would keep the updates coming for Windows 10 for a few more years at no additional cost to the consumers.

My old HP was still working okay but because of this, I decided to switch now before prices go up. My husband convinced me to try an Apple laptop and I'm trying to get used to it. Jury is still out on if I like it or not. Typing is a chore right now because there is no 10-key and I keep getting my fingers in the wrong spots to type.
