Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

oh my nieghbour & her ex got back together ...again.....

its off again..... :confused:
i'm trying to distance myself a little as i feel like i'm being sucked into this too much now!!!

Amy - oh how remember my horrid teenage self - karma eh??

DD's birthday is 3 days after we get back - just too close to going back to school to stay in florida any longer - but its still gonna be her sweet 16 trip :)
any ideas for special suprises would be great :)

Thursday
b/fast - cereal
snack - apple
lunch - 2 slices of seeded bread with lf tuna filler, yogurt, strawberries
snack - 4 crispbreads with lf filler
lunch - baked potato with lf cheese & lf filler

total cals - 1400

exercise - walked to & from wrk (25 mins each way)
went to gym - 650 cals - didnt feel like the gym as the spinning class tired me out but so glad i went as i felt much better afterwards!

Friday
b/fast - cereal
snack - apple
lunch - 2 slices of seeded bread with lf tuna filler, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - treat night - fish & chips

exercise - walked to work

WI - bearing in mind i've spinned twice a week & gym 3 times a week (total 5 times a week) AND walked to work everyday, didnt loose last week - i was expecting good things.....
NO CHANGE :mad: The scale got kicked!!

on the good side i did get in a pair of trousers that didnt fit a few weeks ago AND they were loose - just want that scale to play fair :sad2:
 
Hey, loose pants are better than nothing! :thumbsup2 The scale will catch up, don't worry about that. The clothes fitting better is the best part!

I know that the scale can be frustrating, but you're losing inches and your pants are fitting better. That is wonderful, Tracey!:cheer2:

I think celebrating your DD's sweet 16 in WDW is a great idea!:thumbsup2 What kind of things does she like to do in WDW? Who are her favorite characters e.t.c. ? Maybe we can help you come with up with some ideas to help celebrate her 16th birthday.princess:

went for wi with nurse today so i weighed ay home (usually wi friday - & had no changelast friday :()
got on the scale - 3 lb gain :scared1::eek::headache::mad::sad2:
how on earth do i gain - when i've been sooooo good!
i'm soo mad & upset & angry!!

the good news - lost 1/2 inch on waist - surely the scale has to catch up!!

saturday
had a lovely day out with DD & DH - the sun shone :)
ate out but still came out good on cals - 150 cals
gym - 750 cals burnt

sunday
mothers day - mum & dad came for tea & we watched wdw holiday video :cloud9:
cals - 1500
exercise - 45 min spinning, tm, weights - 750 cals burnt

monday
b/fast - cereal
snack - banana
lunch - 2 slices bread with lf tuna filler, yogurt, strawberries
snack - 100 cal cake bar
dinner - lf sausage casserole with baked potato

25 min walk each way to & from work
 

Tracey, your scale and mine are related I think! I had a mystery gain too and its so discouraging! Just concentrate on those loose pants and don't worry about the dumba** scale!

I think you are wise to distance yourself from your neighbor's drama and dysfunction. Its their cycle of abuse to live out and deal with. Those kind of situations are never fun to be stuck in the middle of.:sad2:

got to go back to work at 5pm for a meeting, so dinner i think will be a low fat ready meal when i get home!!

wont make the gym due to the meeting too :(

You are rockin' your workouts and eating right, I think you are doing great. Remember how you had a couple lbs come off in a single week, they just like to save themselves up. :goodvibes

Hi Tracey: I doubt it would make any difference if your neighbor found out her husband was with another woman. She seems hell bent on destroying herself. I'd just stay out of it whether they are up or down! You are right, totally ridiculous. Sadly, she'll wise up someday but probably not anytime soon.:sad2:

Great news on the loss! That must feel very good, you worked hard for that so be proud!

A day to yourself might be nice. Call a girlfriend and go out or rent a good chick flick to watch all by yourself! Have a super weekend.:)

i came to the same decision myself !!

not been a great weekend with food

after fish & chips friday i had a choc bar at an extra 200 cals!!
so my total went up to 1900 :eek:

Saturday
great work out at gym - 750 cals

other neighbours son was 1 today so we were invited for nibbles - i did only have a small piece of coconut cake

b'fast - cereal
snack - coconut cake
lunch - macoroni cheese, lf mousse
snack - cheese dipper
dinner - goats cheese/red pepper slice, healthy pasta, 1/2 a tub of cheese/chive dip with WW tortilla chips

total cals - 1800 :sad2:

sunday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - spagetti bolognase - wholewheat spagetti & quorn mince & 1 slice of cheesy/spicy bread
dinner - will be 2 small bread rolls with cheese & pastrami

should stay under cals as long as i dont have anything else too naughty later!!
spinning tonight too :)

training at work tomorrow night after we are going for an indian - i just feel this is the 1st time in ages i've gone off track for more than a day!
i have picked the healthiest curry & plan on salad for lunch so hopefully i can behave & will work to work weather permitting!!
 
Good luck at the Indian place. It is easy to get off track there, with so many yummy choices! But I know you can behave!

Hope the weather cooperates so you can get your walk in. :wizard:

Tracy, well done only having a small piece of cake at your neighbor's bday party. That is some serious will power to resist the other nibbles! I hope you had fun at the Indian place. If you did well, good job, if you didn't, one meal never permanently hurt anybody! You are doing so well with food and workouts, keep it up!

dinner - ok...the indian - i had 1/2 a popodom, chicken tika for starter with salad & chicken jalfrezi with white rice & 2 small red wines

guessed around 900 cals for the dinner & wine so total around 1800 :sad2:

tuesday
b/fast - cereal
snack - banana
lunch - prawn salad, yogurt, pineappe
dinner - thin steak, baked potato, salad, 1 smll glass of WW wine

total cals - 1400
exercise - walked to & from work & gym - 550 cals - it was packed & couldnt get on half of the weights i wanted but did get cardio done

one of my elderly neighbours came into school today to show the class his kite that was so kind of him - he is a lovely man :)

wednesday
b/fast - cereal
snack - banana
lunch - 2 slices of seeded bread with lf tuna/sweetcorn filler, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - baked potato with lf cheese & lf chk filler, 1 glass of ww wine

total cals - 1500

exercise - walked to & from work,
gym - spinning :eek: i found out today that some bikes are harder than others!!! yep i had a harder one!! on top of that the instructor decided to try & ''break us'' her words!! so it was a tough workout - suppose it helps with my curry & dip overload :)

2 more days & i break up for a 2 week easter break :cool1:
& my wdw countdown will be down another month.

we had the warmest day of the year so far today :)
i'm eagerly studying the trees in my garden to spot the 1st leaves - sad i know!!!

tracy - i love the really hot curries - vindaloo or madras (both lower in cals)
rogan is a medium curry & more tomato & still lower fat, jalfrezi is medium & a good choice too.
korma is more coconut & cream - but has much more fat - avoid the curries with cream :)


Amy - i forgot to answer your question about what i wear for WI..- nothing - everybit helps right??:rotfl:
 
Tracey: Since I know nothing about Indian food, I have no idea if what you ate was bad or not! But it sounded tasty.;) I never eat Indian food, its the one ethnic cusine I refuse to eat, I got sick on it when I was pregnant with dd. I should give it another go, dh loves it!

That is so sweet that man came to your school, the world is full of some very good people!

I think I would have gotten off the "hard" bike and gone home when the instructor said she would "break" me! Good job sticking it out!:thumbsup2
