Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Happy New Year, Tracey!:cool1: We miss you around here, WISH sis!:grouphug: I hope all is well and that you have a happy and healthy 2009.

Tracey, get your buns back here, I miss you! Its a new year, lets get this done together! Happy 2009!

Tracey, where are you????????

You and I can't both be AWOL at the same time....people will start talking.......

I'm sooo sorry for leaving you all for so long (wheres the head hung in shame smilie???)
but thankyou so much for the well wishes & keeping me on pg 1!!!
hope you all have had a lovely christmas & wishing you all a Happy New Year :grouphug:

When DD was at the theatre for 2 weeks i only made the gym once a week & managed to gain 5 lb's :( Then it was christmas & i've not dared get on the scales!!!
I missed my last WI with the nurse so i'm gonna make a new appointment ASAP!!!
Been & bought lots of healthy food today & am hoping to get back on track from tomorrow (back to work)

I am going to catch up with you all over the next few days....promise!!
Everything is fine here & nothing bad or sad to report (didnt want anyone to worry!) just seem to be VERY busy!!! does time move quicker as you get older????

Gotta dash, off to mums for tea as she & Dad are flying to Spain for a month on Thursday...lucky things oh to be old & retired eh!!

Tracey, it's great to see you back! I know how easy it is to gain weight in the UK, so I feel your pain... When I was there a couple weeks ago I think I ate my weight in scones with clotted cream. Can't get enough of that stuff!

You will get back on track once everything settles back into the normal routine.

Cheers,
Amy

Tracey, I am so glad to see you and know that all is well (I figured you were just busy). Good job shopping for healthy food and making an appt. with the nurse. Its that time of year when everyone is having to face the music so to speak so just go in there and know you have a whole new year to work with!

I want to be retired and go to Spain for a month too!

Hi Tracey!

It's great to hear from you, WISH sis! I'm glad that things are going well for you.

That is so cool that your parents get to go to Spain for a month!:cool1: I bet they will have a great time.

I hope you have a great week ahead, Tracey. I'm glad you're back!

Well i didnt do to well at mums last night
1 cheese roll
1/2 salmon roll
1 sausage roll
2 cakes
2 cheese sticks
1 piece of toffee cheesecake with cream!!

Today - back to work after 2 weeks off!! Wasnt too bad the kids arent back till tomorrow so it was just getting the classroom ready.

I forgot - my brother suprised me with AC/DC tickets at Wembley Stadium (London) in June I am soooo excited!!! they are on a Friday so i needed the day off work & the head has ok'ed it today
Also booked 'Flash Dance'' the musical for DD & I to go & see at the end of this month :)

DD had a wii fit for christmas everyone was overweight...except me - i was obese :headache: then yesterday it said i wasnt obese anymore :cool1: you've never seen anyone so excited to be overweight!!!

Hoping to book WDW for 2010 in a few months:goodvibes

ok food, i started with good intentions but everyone bought left over xmas goodies to work!!
My neighbour told me to try lemon in hot water every morning for a week & has gaurenteed i'll lose about 5 lb's!!! i tryed it this morning it was horrid!! so i sipped about half!!

B/fast - hot lemon, decaf earl grey, cereal
snack - LF hot choc drink, banana, 3 biscuits, 3 chocolates!!
lunch - LF cheese & pastrami wholemeal roll, LF yogurt
snack - bag of crisps (think you call them chips - ''lays'' type)
dinner - not sure yet - something healthy!!

Wow, you must be excited about AC/DC if you already booked your time off 6 months in advance! :goodvibes

I drink a glass of cold water with lemon and stevia every morning and have never experienced any magical weight loss... Maybe my water temperature is all wrong! :confused3 Maybe try some Splenda or other non-calorie sweetener in the hot water w/lemon??

Have you been to Disneyland Paris before? I am wondering if we should go or not while we are in Paris this summer and I'd love to hear about it from someone who has been there!

Tracey: Hot water with lemon is a laxative sort of thing! I used to drink that when I was pregnant and needed a natural constipation reliever! So drink it and stay near the bathroom!

Its really hard to do well when people bring in junk, once its all eaten up, it'll be gone. You're on the right path, it takes a bit of time to settle back in.

Can't wait to hear the WDW trip plans as they unfold!

That is so cool that you get to see AC/DC and Flashdance!:cool1:

I can't wait to hear about your WDW plans for 2010!

Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

Tracey,

Glad to see you back! I'm sorry that you had such a tough time over the holidays, but congratulations on the Wii thing! I would have been excited too. It's a new year, a perfect time to start over. I KNOW you can do it!

:cheer2:

Thanks everyone :)

i've been doing a lot of thinking about WDW...i have a dilema... i would like to stay at the Dolphin as i loved that area but as it is more expensive we would have to go for less time!
so (if budget allows) should i do 10 nts dolphin & 5 night Universal RPR (have to go back their we loved it even though Fay rained on us the whole time - i have to go back & see it in the sun!!)
OR do a value & stay for 21 nts total instead of 15?????

I really need to finish my TR!!!!

I went on wii fit last night & went to the gym tonight ... at the gym i felt really heavy & achy then realised it was proberbly from boxing on the wii!!!

Today - VERY cold, been like this a while now! DH is gritting, looks like i wont see much of him this week!!
work - lots of goodies still around!!

b/fast - cereal, decaf earl grey (skipped the hot lemon! :scared: )
snack - lf hot choc, banana, 3 choc fingers
lunch - large wholemeal roll with cheese, pastrame & mayo, lf yogurt
snack - choc marshmellow!
dinner - small baked potato with lf cheese & chk/bacon pasta, 5 chocolates!

arghhh i will be glad when all the chocolate has gone!!!

Amy - i've never been to DLP mainly because it is very expensive & cold! & i'd sooner save the money towards WDW!! There are only 2 parks too, i have been to Paris (we got engaged their - on the river Seine  ) & its lovely :)

off to feed the cat & watch US biggest loser (please dont tell me who won - i think we're miles behind!! they just bought back the black team!)

Wow Tracey, thats a tough one! I usually say to stay as long as possible! When we stayed at the Poly, I loved it but was glad that I hadn't had to cut my trip short to make that happen. We only got to stay two nights there in order to keep our trip at two weeks. What about a split stay? Can you do a maybe ten nights at the value then three or four nights at the Dolphin? Also, the Dolphin gives a teacher discount, don't know if that applies to U.S. teachers only but they do give that. That area of WDW is lovely, but I would hate for you to be boarding that plane for home 6 days early and being sad! I guess my best advice is split stay or cut back on something else to keep the trip at least close to your normal three weeks.

I hope your co workers eat up the goodies very soon, that is so hard to resist!

Sorry your weather stinks!:sad2:

Hi Tracey,

I like Amy's idea of a split stay. Maybe you can do the value, head to Universal, and then finish your vacation with a few days at the Dolphin. If your heart isn't set on the Dolphin and you just want to be in the Epcot area, you can always look at renting DVC points for the Beach Club or Boardwalk as well. I would most definitely want to stay as long as I could though. I like the sound of a 21 day vacation!:thumbsup2

I hope the weather gets better for you soon.pixiedust: We're back to cold, snowy, and icy here as well. :cold:

Have a great evening and a wonderful day tomorrow, Tracey!

I think the split idea is good, if you can work that out. And I will add that I am insanely jealous that you can take a 21 day holiday!!!!!

The chocolates will soon be gone and you can get back on track with your eating. :thumbsup2

We might not go to DLP, because there are so many other things in Paris we could do, that we can't do in the US. We'll just have to see how that plays out. If you have any insider tips for Paris, I'm all ears!

Amy - the Paris Opera House was may fav thing when we went - stunning place, we didnt see a show or anything (that must be amazing) we just looked around & even that was still worth it!

The only reason i can have a 21 day holl is because i work in a school & we get 6 weeks off in the summer, DD is of course also off & DH gets 25 days when he wants them so he has to put just about all his holls in & then doesnt get any more time off, the downside is the price - it rockets during school holls!!!
I will look into split stays in WDW, thanks for the advice :grouphug:

There was a guy who went to the gym last year & i saw the weight drop off him - he did it through doing WW by himself & working out - he lost 6 stone
(84 lb's) hadnt seen him for a while & saw him tonight - hes put it all back on again :( it made me so feel so sad for him, he used to run on the TM for at least 40 mins - could only do 5 today :( I hope he can lose it & keep it off this time.

DH gritting...again :( at least he gets paid extra :)

Great job on getting your food back on track!!!

That is sad about the guy at the gym. I've also noticed a lot of new faces at the gym! Most of them are gone by the end of Feb... :confused3

I will definitely keep the Paris Opera house on the list, thanks for the tip!
