Hey, Tracey, I think I found the 3 lbs you lost.....somehow it seems to have made it's way across the big pond.......

Horribly sad about the boy in your class... as Tracy said, let us know if there's anything we can do.

Your food & exercise is really good! You posted measurements......gee, another who is dumb like me?!?!?!?! :rotfl: You must be TALL, though, cuz in your pics, you look LITTLE compared to me and we're really about the same weight I'd guess.

Hi Tracey, I am so proud of that 3 pounds! You have been so consistent for quite some time now, even with a long vacation you have stayed on track! I think this is the way our Tracey lives her life now and I am super proud of you!

I am so sorry about your student. That made me cry, that was the same age I was when my dad died. He was 40. That little boy has a rough road ahead but I can tell you that the kindness and love you are showing will help him and he'll remember it his whole life. I still remember my Miss Stallard, who was my teacher after my dad died, she helped me tremendously. I know you will do the same.

Why does life have to be so hard?

But again, I am just so proud of how well you have done.

Thanks Amy
It was the little boys mums funeral today, he came to school in the morning but went at lunch time for ''mums party''
I didnt know that you lost your dad at such a young age - i just cannot comprehend how that must feel!! thankyou for sharing that

Drinking red wine for medicinal purposes never hurt anybody! That is so sad about that little boy in your class. Yes, I lost my dad when I was 7. My mom was 36 and left with three kids to raise on her own. Hence, why she was so special and dear to me. Don't know how she did it. I am saying a prayer for your student and his dad. Too much sadness in the world sometimes huh?

I am betting your weigh in will be just fine. You have been really watching yourself with food. A few treats in moderation is actually a good thing. Keeps you from feeling deprived and blowing it!

Hi Tracey,

Sending lots of prayers for the little boy in your class. What a difficult day it must have been for him.:sad1: Is there anything we can do?

You have been doing a great job with working out and with your food choices! I bet your weigh in will be just fine tomorrow.:goodvibes

I hope you have a great weekend ahead!

Thanks Amy & Tracy :grouphug:

Hi, Tracey! You have been doing so great with your food and activity, so don't worry about a stinkin' 1 pound gain. Your trip report is wonderful -- I LOVE all the pictures. I am so sorry Leann had so much ear pain. I really do understand how painful that is and I'm glad you were able to get her to the urgent care center. I was so sad to read of your student's loss. I agree that you are probably one of the most important people in his life right now. He will be able to appreciate the structure and consistency of his classroom and your compassion. I know it isn't easy for you, either, though, so please know I am thinking of you and sending you hugs.

Tracey, don't stress about the gain. Bottom line, its not possible to lose every single time. It may have been less about the dip ;) and more about your body just adjusting to the program. You can do it, just keep steady and hang in there!

I'll have to check out day 9, poor Leanne!

Keep up your good work, if you are walking to work, that is exercise! The gym is great, but don't under value those walks you do!

:thumbsup2

Thanks Amy & Cam
glad your enjoying the TR :)
just wish i could book another trip & have something to look forward too :(
I love walking & the hip pain made me think -''i'm not getting any younger'' & how awful it would be if i couldnt have my brisk walks!

WI tomorrow with the nurse - just hope the scale hasnt moved up any more!!!

Tuesday
b/fast - cereal
snack - banana, LF hot choc drink
lunch - same as yesterday
dinner - mahi mahi, boiled potatoes in sundried tomato, salad & sweetcorn

went to gym - 650 cals :)

I actually felt like i needed to get to the gym to de-stress! as you remeber me saying the kids in my class are very challenging - not all of them but the ones that are are disrupting the rest of the class.

The boy whos mum died is the worst & obviously we have to cut the poor kid some slack but to what extent when its effecting others?? :confused3

The boy told me on Friday that some other kids keep telling him his mums dead & he tells me shes not & shes having a baby :sad1:
Then today hes playing up in the class & i tell him off & all he says is ''if anyone says my mums dead i have to tell you dont i''
He's sat on the carpet area going ''mama mama'' the teacher was out on a course today & the cover was a nice teacher i worked with last year but even she didnt know how to really handle this!!

So i've had a candle lit bubble bath, with my micky mouse bathbomb i bought from Basin at DTD & a large glass of wine sat next to me on the computer!!!

off to have another glass...these kids are turning me into an alcoholic:eek:

 Tracey,

Sending lots of good thoughts your way....I hope things settle down for you at school soon.:goodvibes Sending prayers for the little boy whose mom has passed away as well.

I hope weigh-in goes well for you tomorrow. You are doing a great job!!!!:cheer2:

I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you!

Hi Tracey, hope weigh in went well today!

That sounds like a tough scenario with that one little guy in particular. Do you have a school psychologist? I am really keeping him in my prayers and you too. You end up getting the most time with him most likely and that is hard I know!

A little wine to calm the nerves never hurt anyone. ;)

wow has it been that long???
work - busy
food - up & down
WI - up & down!!!

not really got anything to report - life is pretty normal, had some busy weekends too, last WI 2 weeks ago was no change, then 3 days later i lost 3 lbs & a week later i gained 5 lb's!!!! WI again on Wednesday so i'll see what that turns up!!

Off to make sure your all alright :)

day 10 TR done :)
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1981645

tried to have a good food day today as i've been snacking on way too many unhealthy goodies...then one of the dinner ladies offered me an egg custard tart! I had said the day before how much i fancied an egg custard & then one turns up!!! needless to say i had no will power what so ever & demolished it, then had a cookie before heading off to the gym :sad2:

The rest of the days food was great, & i could say one bad thing is ok BUT its been one or two bad things nearly every day!!

Tuesday
b/fast - cereal
snack - LF hot choc drink, banana, cherry scone (forgot they were in the staff room too :sad2: )
lunch - seeded bread with cheese/onion filler, yogurt, strawberries
er..snack..egg custard..later 1 cookie & a glass of OJ
Dinner - wholemeal fahitas (SP??) with chk, red peppers, red onion & m/room

Went to gym burnt 600 cals :)

I've also come out in an itchy rash all over my legs, arms & stomach, i think its some body cream i used!!!

WI tomorrow - wish me luck - i'll need it ;)

Wi on my scale - up 1lb
Wi on nurses scale - the same as last time 2 weeks ago

I'm feeling pretty downhearted at the moment - i've lost 5lb's since i started this plan with the nurse back in June!! & my waist measurement hasnt moved down at all! :(

The stupid rash has kept me awake & is itching like mad!!

Wednesday
b/fast - cereal
snack - banana, hot choc drink (LF)
lunch - 4 crispbreads with cheese/onion filler, yogurt, pineapple
dinner - steamed red thai chk curry

Day 11 TR done :
http://disboards.com/showthread.php?p=28178965#post28178965

Tracey, I hope the itching is better! That is the worst feeling in the world. Try and oatmeal bath (put oatmeal in a sock, hold the sock under running warm water, it really helps).

Don't lose heart! This is not an easy journey. To me you have done very well, you had a 3 week vacation in this time frame and you could have easily gained back every pound plus several more. Just keep remembering that all those losses add up over time. I am right there with you, the scale doesn't move fast enough to suit me but in the end, we have to be proud of what we have done, not mad at ourselves for what we haven't.

You can do it Tracey, in fact you already are! Just keep up the good work and it will happen! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes :cheer2: :flower3:
