Tracey, so glad your granddad got to come to dd's concert! Sorry you got a cold, feel better soon! Great job booking that spinning class, that will burn off some serious calories. Don't despair about the scale, I am betting you will have a solid loss very soon.

thats as far as i've got!!

The company that built our house has asked me to do some PR work for them :)
As i have become good friends with the lady who works in the show home, she told them about how nice we have made our house & garden & how i have got the neighbours together for bbq's & how friendly i am! (her words!)
So they interviewed me & are putting a peice in their local paper :)
Heres what it says:

''For most people a 1st wedding anniversary is symbolised in paper. But for Tracey & Gary it was bricks & mortar - as it was when they were out celebrating this occasion that the couple got a call to say that their offer on a 3 bedroom semi had been accepted. Tracey explains:

''We were living in my husbands property in the town centre opposite some good friends of ours. But when they moved away things just wernt the same anymore, so we started to think about moving too. We wanted to stay in the area but live somwhere that was away from the hustle & bustle of the town centre. I'd always wanted a new build property so we went to see what was on offer at Jelson Homes Development.

The quite cul-de-sac location really appealed & on viewing the house I fell in love with it. After that nothing else we looked at could compare. It has a fantastic split level garden that acts like an extra room in the summer & allocated parking - something that was a real luxury for us - having to fight for a space at the old house. Since moving in we've got to know our neighbours who arer really friendly & a lovely little community has developed - we've even hadf a few gatherings to get to know each other.

My husband wasnt sure about the move at 1st but now that we've made the house our own, he loves it just as much as me!''

cool eh :goodvibes

That is so cool, Tracey!:thumbsup2 You do have a beautiful home and I'm glad that Gary loves it as much as you do. :goodvibes

Great job on the spinning class!:cheer2: You can burn some serious calories in a class like that. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great day ahead!

Wow, we are in the midst of a celebrity! :worship: :worship: :worship: That is very cool to be in the paper like that! :thumbsup2

I guess you will have to do the next spinning class without sitting down. Then your legs will hurt, that is TOUGH! ;)

Thanks Amy - we did do quite a lot of standing at spinning, i was ok with that - the bit i found the hardest was when we had to sit, stand, sit, stand - up & down quickly - that killed the front of the top of my legs!! but no pain today :) also it really hurt my feet!!!! but again ok today!

can post todays food now:

Monday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - 2 egg omlette (made with semi skimmed milk) with red onion, mushroom, tomato & a bit of ham & LF cheese
dinner - prawn salad with homemade thick cut fries, strawberries

not worked out the cals yet but should be pretty good :)

Exercise - non - my rear end is too sore ;)

hoping to make gym tomorrow
Going out for lunch with my friend tomorrow - just hoping they have some healthy choices, also out for lunch on Wednesday with Grandad!!!

Great job on your food, Tracey!:thumbsup2

I hope you have a great time at lunch tomorrow and on Wednesday!:goodvibes

What an honor to that the builder chose you to speak for the development! You guys have done a great job with that garden area. :thumbsup2

Your food looks great and well done with that spinning class and booking another one. I see those classes at my rec center and they look very challenging. So good for you!

Keep up the good work, you are doing so well!:thumbsup2

I hope your bum isn't sore anymore! How did you fare at your lunch out?

Thanks for stopping by ladies :grouphug:

lunch went well - i had cajun chicken ciabatta, left the tortillas that came with it & 2 diet cokes :)

My rear end is still a little sore but getting better ;)

I have a dilemma - i'm under on cals - 1000 - do i leave it at that or should i have supper???? I burnt 800 cals at the gym today too!! hmmmm i think now i've wrote this down i know the answer!!

Tuesday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - cajun chicken ciabatta & 2 diet cokes
dinner - boiled potatoes, salad, salmon in lime/chilli breadcrumbs

just remembered i didnt add the LF cheese & smll full fat salad dressing to dinners cals - i'll add another 100 = 1100 cals for day

exercise - 800 cals at gym, i got on the spinning bike on my own & just did 10 mins - my butt couldnt take any more!!!...or my legs - i think they were tender from the class without really realising it until i tried again!! kinda achey!

It would have been or i suppose is my grandmas birthday today - miss you grandma :sad1:
taking grandad out for lunch tomorrow :)

How did your lunch go? I hope you guys were able to share some special memories of grandma! :goodvibes

As for your calories question, I don't think 1 day under calories is bad, but try not to have too many days where you are too low, since it could backfire and make your body hold onto every calorie it gets because it thinks you are starving!

Tracey, your grandmother was/is very lucky to have a granddaughter who loves and honors her so much. I know firsthand, those special days can be very bittersweet.

Great job on food and exercise. I also don't think one day here or there under food will hurt you but don't doo it too often. If you are under on calories something quick like a glass of milk or a yogurt before bed will help. Generally if I am under by the end of the day and not hungry, I'll be starving around midnight!

I am so proud of how diligent and dedicated you are right now. Good job and keep up that hard work!!:)

Thanks ladies :grouphug:

Dinner with grandad was good my mum & dad came as well & DD :)

Wednesday

WI tomorrow - i've had my last chance work out ;)
i dont know what i'll do if that scale hasnt gone under 12 st 2 lb's (170 lb's) :sad2:

The 2010 preview brochure came out for WDW today - i wanted to do the dolphin - came out at £3400 (incl flights) for 10 nights, hasnt got the universal hotel or a decent i-drive so i would have to book them elsewhere such as direct. (want to add 5 nts RPR & 10 nts i-drive to these prices/options)
OR we can downgrade to a mod for £3000
OR a value for £2500

on top of these prices would be WDW tix - £500

I am really stuck what to do, these prices have 15% off, i really had my heart set on the Dolphin but its gonnabe sooo expensive but then i think - we only go every 2 yrs, were not having a holiday this year!.....

Off to watch american idol :)
oh & i've found another series of biggest loser :) not the new one - it has a blonde guy called Dan who went in with his mom, & a girl called brittany....
plz dont tell me who wins :)

That was last season of Biggest Loser. I won't spoil the surprise for you! :ssst:

I hope you have a good WI tomorrow, I know you are getting really frustrated! :wizard:

As for the vacation, I say it's only money - book the Dolphin! You have plenty of time to save for it, plan early and you'll be fine.

So glad you had a nice family dinner! Hmm, those WDW decisions are tough to make! Have you ever tried Coronado Springs? Very lovely resosrt, now has all queen beds and it also has a couple of very good bars!! You can't make a bad choice. Heck, I love the values (music is my favorite with Pop a close second). Have fun deciding, it makes for a lot of fun!

Great job on food and exercise, you are cranking!!!

I'm glad that you had a great time at lunch with your family.:goodvibes

I agree with Amy...WDW decisions can be tough to make. Is there any way you could do a split stay? Maybe you can spend a few days at POP, a few days at US/IOA, and then end your stay at the Dolphin? Do your prices include dining or is that separate?

Sending some :wizard: :wizard: for weigh in. I hope it went well!:goodvibes

Have a great weekend!

Thanks ladies :)

i considered spliting - 7 nts dolphin 3 nts coronado, but the difference in price is minimal & its a lot of hassle changing hotels especially when we are already proberbly doing 3!
i have come to a decission..... i really dont want to do a value again as we've done that the last 2 trips, Coronado would be my next choice but its £400 cheaper & i think for an extra £400 i might as well go with my dream of the Dolphin ;) Just gotta convince DH now, & decide what to do about park tickets, do i buy them with 15% off - but are expensive due to rubbish exchange rate or do i wait & see if things improve by next year & ticket prices come down???
what da ya think???

Friday

b/fast - cereal
lunch - minestrone soup 1 slice of bread
dinner - fish & chips

cals -1500, just looked at how many cals are in my fish & chips - over 800:scared1: & nearly 50 gm's of fat!!! good job its a once a week treat!!!

Exercise - non
went to visit another long lost friend today - was good to catch up :)

ok WI ............................................................................
i didnt WI on my scale as the batteries are going & its all over the place BUT went to see nurse - i'll remind you last trip was 2 weeks ago on her scale i was 12 st 4 lb with a 39 inch waist................................................
Today bang on 12 stone & a 35 inch waist :cool1:  :dance3: :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2:

so thats a 4 lb loss & a 4 inch loss - praise be :worship:
AND i finally broke my plateau!

SO i go back in another 2 weeks & i have to keep motivated, its been incredibly hard work to lose what is really a small amount, & i'm not sure if i can sustain this regime, but i'll keep going & keep hoping...

Congratulations on your weight loss, Tracey!:cheer2: You are doing a wonderful job!!!:cheer2:

That's great that you have decided on the Dolphin. I love the whole Boardwalk area. As far as tickets go, I'm not sure what I would do. A 15% discount is pretty good, but if the economy continues to tank, Disney may discount tickets and packages even further in order to get people on property. How long is the 15% discount good until?

I hope you have a great weekend!
