Trac Phones

Hi

We are thinking of buying some trak phones when we are in Orlando to use this year and next.

Where is the best place to get them and what is the minimum amount that you can put on them? We only want them incase we split up - which we don't do very often in wdw, but as the kids get older it does happen.

We're planning to head to walmart and get 2 phones at around $20 with $10 airtime to start with. As we have a 7 year old tall enough for lots of a rides and a 4 year old who isn't, it will make life a little easier for us. Hopefully Walmart will have the phones lol.

Yes, either Wal Mart (the big one down the 192 is best) or Target

You might have to look around for the $15 phones as the cheaper ones always tend to go quickly.

Walmart, Super Target and Target are the places we have found them.

Hi they come with airtime and if u activate them online they double the airtime

Hi. Not sure when you're planning to arrive but I have a suggestion for you. Sales are advertised in the Sunday newspaper but if you want to see the sales flyer for a particular store, you can usually find it on line.

I ALWAYS see the tracphones at really cheap prices at Walgreens. I just checked the website walgreens.com and was able to look at my local sales. It is currently the flyer that is good through June 2. The new one will be on line in a few hours. At the moment there is a listing for a Virgin phone. "Buy a $20 mobile phone card, get a Virgin Cellular phone for $9.99"

You can also check Walmart and Target and view the current sales for the Orlando area on line. Just remember, sales usually start on Sunday and the dates of the sale are clearly printed on either the first page or the last page of the sales circular.
