I couldn't quite your message on mobile. I have a canon S100. I'm pretty happy with it! I use both interchangeably I love my 60D, and I have a nifty fifty lens I can use if need be to lighten the load.

I don't know much about the S100, but it does look nice. Does it have a viewfinder? I always like one for bright days. I know all about lightening the load. I carry 4 lenses with me most days. I have the humongous and heavy 17-55 f/2.8, the 70-200 f/4, and 2 Sigma lenses. The 30 mm 1.4 and the 10-20 mm (I think! LOL It's not fast, but it is wide.)

Oh you will have so much fun! It's a good thing I'm teaching the next three months, as it will keep me occupied and busy. Otherwise waiting for August would be TORTURE. LOL I keep looking at Black Rapid Straps online, but I'd like to physically try one before I would buy one, and there are none anywhere near here. Do you like it?

then there are days i'll come see more pictures during a break in my day schedule.

Wow! Thank you so much. I am very happy to be able to share with you our pictures. Since you appreciate them so much I may go back and share my 2010 pictures too. I know what it's like to go looking for some pictures of somewhere or something that you love and can't find what you are looking for. I hope that this helps people fill their need of Universal shots in between trips or to help someone prepare for their trip.

Thank you. I was shooting at ISO 6400 and mostly had it underexposed (-.7) . I usually set my camera to aperture priority and then keep an eye on the shutter speed. I took at look at some of my Hogwarts shots and I was shooting at 1.4 and my shutter was around 1/40 of a second, but sometimes as slow as 1/20 and as fast as 1/80. I love my fast Sigma 30mm lens.
