2026 Strength Training Accountability Thread

Last night was pretty standard at the gym. Moderate to higher intensity on the elliptical followed by upper body day. I had to take it easy with my left shoulder/delt. I had a half marathon on Sunday and I think my form was off later on in the race. I was fighting off getting sick from the smell of low tide and was probably hunching a bit in the process. I've had pain around that shoulder ever since. As a result, I split my lifting on a couple of machines to lift lighter weights on the left side and normal on the right. i.e. get it moving but ease it back into the swing of things.
 
I'll give it a try, but from the girls I know who do go to the classes, they are already very well attended. But I guess it can't hurt to see.
Ours are too, but like any gym, they have a pretty regular turnover (people get busy, have unexpected expenses, etc) so they are always looking to add new clients.
 
Got back to strength training yesterday with a full-body workout.

I'm thinking of adjusting my strength training schedule so that I do legs on Tuesday evenings (my tempo run day), and combo core/arms on W/F. I've been following workouts from when I did the Stoked Metabolic Fitness challenge, but I can take those exercises to make my own workouts.
