So our realtor just called me. Someone offered the same amount of money as we did ($8,000 over asking!!!!) but they got the house cause they offered cash.
Oh well. The thing about this market is, there are other houses out there!

DISNEY UPDATE!!!!! We got our Stateroom number for the cruise!!! And Disney had a surprise for ME!!!! We have been upgraded to a cat 9!!!!
I needed that news so badly!! Things have been going badly with the health of some of my family (not the four of us) and any good news is nice. Now I just need everything to get better in the next 20 days (yes I said 20) so that I can enjoy my trip!!!!!!!

But, I just had to jump in and say that I have really enjoyed your Pre-TR. I also wanted to say Congrats about the room upgrade on the cruise. Isn't it wonderful how Disney can make things all better (at least for a little while)? Can't wait to read all about your trip!

Disney does seem to make me smile even when I don't think I should. I think thats why I 'need' to go back so much! It's just a really happy place. This room upgrade just makes it even better!!!

Hey! Things got busy with the holidays and I've been reading but slacking on the writing part. Sorry about that! Glad to hear things are coming together for the trip - cannot wait to hear all about the surprise!!! It's getting so close are you just getting crazy excited and nervous now???? sorry to hear about your family's health - Disney will certainly help brighten your spirits.

You'll also have to tell me lots and lots about the cruise. DH wants to go on one but I cannot picture myself on a boat for any period of time not being able to get off when I'm done.

Don't worry I am going to take lots of notes!! I have a feeling if you took a Disney cruise you wouldn't be ready to get off the boat when it was over. not the other way around.

So... This is what happened last night. I'm going to try and write it story style in third person for more drama.

While Natale was getting food ready for her kids she hears her DH call her from the other room. "Natale, what is this?" she hears. This normally means she had forgotten to do some 'task' that was requested earlier in the day. Natale slowly walked back into the room noticing that Shawn was on the computer.
He closed what he was working on to reveal DisBoards.com. Natale now realized that she had forgotten to close what she was reading earlier in the day. Once again Shawn asks, "What is this?" pointing at the screen. He found (post #188) Natale read the post it said...

Look at what I found online!!!
I'm going to get us all Tshirts for the pirate night on the cruise!!!
I also may get it embroidered on beach towels.

I Love it!!! Now I am going to have something to put in the 'surprise' box!!

Tears almost instantly filled her eyes. Six months of keeping a secret were ruined because she had to leave computer earlier because Skylar woke up from her nap. If only she had paid more attention to what she had been doing... if only the baby would have stayed asleep for a few more minutes!!

After Natale wiped the tears from her eyes she realized that it was still a surprise for him, just not the way she had planned it. His reaction was still golden. Shawn didn't understand really what was happening at first, he just knew that he read something he shouldn't have, and that we may be going on a cruise. After that Natale figured the jig was up and let him in on all the details. As she reveled all of the plans you could see Shawn's eyes light up with excitement and disbelief.

Shawn was sad that Natale was upset but happy that he found out before they arrived at Disney. He explained to Natale that he hates surprises (she already knew this) and that this way he had a few weeks to get excited about the whole vacation. He felt that if he would have found out in Disney World the whole trip would have gone by too quickly.

They spent the rest of the evening talking about their vacation and how much fun they would have. Shawn kept on saying his heart was racing and he couldn't believe Natale was able to pull it off. Now Natale can talk to Shawn and they can be excited together.

So that's my story. I have since gotten over the disappointment. Sorry I didn't get it on video - But I will capture the rest of out trip.

I am sorry that the suprise was ruined , but I am also happy that I didn't ruin it. (By the way, I am Natale's sister-in-law) There were so many times that I mentioned cruise things that he might hear . But now we can all talk about the trip without watching our words. So excited that we leave in 18 days ! (16 for you!)

15 days now!!! And I am really glad I am the one who ruined it to.

WOW! Shawn hates surprises. But, I asked him if he would have 'let' me plan this trip if he knew all the details and he said no. He's too worried about money. But I was able to pay the trip off by working more hours at my job... so it's all good.

Were on the final countdown!!!! I can't wait!!! Shawn was laid off a few weeks ago but keeps on gettting called into work. I don't get it!!! As soon as he's home for good I'll be able to kick in to high gear and get everything done.

I've been trying to talk him into leaving a day earlier... but he said no.

Well at least you got a surprise reaction!! Sorry it wasn't the way you planned but at least now the pressure is off and at least DH can help you pack all the right things and share some of the stress in the last few days before a major vacation!

I would've probably yelled at my DH for finding out, haha. You did a great job!!!

I tried to find your exact post where you talked about the dates you're going but I couldn't find it. I just booked a last minute trip (couldn't resist these resort rates!!) I'm going with my dad on January 22nd. Will you be there??

Also, bummer about the surprise! I'm really shocked I pulled it off with my brother there were SO many things that could have ruined it! At least he was still excited!! (who wouldn't be??)
