Last night we met Daniel the greeter at the front gates of DHS, we had known him from the year before as the seater at Kouzzina, he said wait a minute and went to see his manager, came back with the six fast passes for HS, they expire on Dec 31.

Mama Melrose for dinner and then to see The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights and we found the cat.

Yum, that pizza looks delish. And the restaurant looks lovely and quiet also.

Well done scoring those extra fastpasses. You seem to know so many people at WDW; you must have a great way of striking up conversations with the people you meet in your travels.

The people we know seem to work at the same places for years and they love it when you ask for them as the server or housekeeping.

Christmas day was breakfast in Cape May Cafe with seven of us, after a short rest it was off for a walk through Epcot to catch the monorail to TTC. The CM were stopping guests trying to ride the monorail from Epcot as MK was at a high level, I spoke with the CM and said we had a dinner reservation at Trails End and we were allowed on, from the monorail you could see the car park at Magic Kingdom was closed. We then caught another monorail around the resort loop to the Grand Floridian to view the gingerbread house, from there the monorail back to MK and then the boat across to Wilderness lodge and then walk around to Fort Wilderness, saw lots of deer grazing on the way. At Fort Wilderness after a good look around we surprised our friends with the horse drawn sleigh ride which takes you on a 30 min ride around the Christmas decorations of the RV sites. We waited a few minutes for our own ride. DW had booked the rides in July. Dinner was at Trails End and then a boat ride back to Magic Kingdom. We stayed in MK for about one hour and it was packed so it was back to the Boardwalk for bed.

Sounds like you had a great day. How packed was MK? Do you have any pictures?

We arrived about 9pm, Main Street was packed with Main Street Electrical parade and then Holiday Wishes, it was going to be hard to move anywhere so we caught the train around to Fantasyland. Haunted Mansion and other rides were walk ons with little wait. During holiday seasons when the parades and fireworks are on is the best time to get on rides.

It was funny as this year we have friends staying for twelve nights, last year he asks if Christmas day is a slow or closed day, think he sees a different view now!

Sounds like you had a great day the lights look great it's amazing what people take camping with them

From what I hear there is competition as to who can have the best decorations and lights each year.

The sleigh driver said one of the camp ground RV's stays there 4-5 months each year, there was another site where the RV had been there 3.5 years, the rumour is the lady had more money than she wanted and lived there permanent.

The walk from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness we saw about ten deer and a hidden Mickey!

Dinner at Marrakesh in Epcot on Christmas Eve and taking advantage of the DVC 20% discount as the TIW has the block out dates!

Bought another reproduced painting to be shipped home, taking advantage of the 20% DVC premium annual pass discount. As they are limited edition if you like it take as it will not be there next year.
