TPAS2 Alumni and friends thread

Oh Cruz!!

:grouphug: So sorry to hear about your grandmother! Thank goodness someone was there when it happened!

P&PT for your family.

All my good wishes will be with your grandmother, Cruz.

Thanks Guys!
Right now we are waiting to see if she suffered any neurological (sp?)damage.
My grandmother has always been more of a mother to me, then the woman who gave birth to me, I just don't know what I would do with out her.:sad1:
I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers, you all really are the best!

HUGS, sweetie! After the recent scare with my mom I know exactly how you're feeling and I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you all. I ended up developing an upper respiratory infection and have been sleeping whenever I have a free minute. I am so happy to say my Grandmother is doing much better. She seems to have some short term memory loss and they are doing a catheterization on her heart Tuesday for blockage. She is up talking today, when I went in this morning she turned to me and said "oh hi hunny bunny" (my four new favorite words in the english language). I just balled like a baby!!!! ME --->

I thought about all of you when I went to the store and got her teddy bear and some balloons. One balloon was a "get well" one and the other was tink spreading pixi dust. Of course when I got back with them I got that " here goes the Disney psycho again" look from most of my family. Oh well, there loss!!!!:confused3

Again thanks for all your support, it really means a lot to me!

So glad that she's doing better, Cruz! :) And you take care of yourself.

It's mega-migraine day (3rd day of it), which meant mega-Maxalt last night and today is mega-percocet day. AM, sometime soon if you're on instant messenger I have a medicine question, if you don't mind.

Hey Cruz,

Glad to hear both you and your grandmother are doing better! :thumbsup2

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with being a disney fanatic! :rotfl2:

Hey all!

Cruz - glad to hear Grandmom is doing better! Continued prayers and thoughts for her and your family. Get yourself better!!

Tig - Oh NO!! Hope that nasty migraine is gone!! I told the doc about mine and he handed me some Imitrex samples. After hearing all of the warnings on the commercial, I was like naaaahhhhhhhhh - I will be asking for Fiorcet when I see him this week.

I have to drop off my van tomorrow. All of the parts have come in for the repair. It is supposed to take 8 days and with a holiday in there I am sure that it will be like 2 weeks :scared1:

That's ok, they just better have a van for me to rent. I told them 3 times that I had to have a mini van. We shall see :rolleyes1

I am currently planning our 10th anniversary trip. We are going to do the same thing we did on our honeymoon. 4 nights in Orlando and 3 nights in New Orleans!!! :dance3: DH gave me a budget and I know I can come in WAYYYYYY under it (well, I hope anyway) Don't faint - I want to stay onsite at Disney and hit MGM and EPCOT(food and wine festival) so I think I need to go poking around for a discount code for the swan or dolphin or something in that area. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Have a good Monday!!

Onsite is the only way go to at WDW!!!

I stayed off site once, never again, I'm spoiled I love being on site!

Linus, what is Fiorcet? I had my headache through yesterday...5 days of it. :sad2:

We're trying to figure out if we can swing a trip to Universal this summer. I SO want to go and if we use our Universal points it shouldn't cost too terribly much.

Big thunderstorms here in Houston. Glad they came after I got to work and not on the highway.

My DD is turning 11 in a couple of weeks. Anyone have any ideas for a really neat gift?

Does she have an ipod? I was able to get my DS 13 one of those $29 ipod shuffles (refurbished, but you would never know). He loves it, and now my 9yo wants one. They offered free shipping for an order over $50, so we add a $25 itunes card.
