My mom seems to be doing better. Still in the hospital, but finally seems to be making some progress. I was worried about going out of town this weekend, wondering if I would need to fly to Oregon, but it looks like she's out of danger. I hope at least. I'll call today and talk with the nurse if I have any doubt.

I'm glad to hear your mom is doing better! It's no fun at all when a parent get's sick! So how are you doing???

We had a big softball weekend here. DD's team won the Houston Metro Softball Championship for 10U. They went 5-0. The team only gave up 1 run and scored 40 in the tournament. She is really excited about winning the tourney.

I'm here. I was away for the weekend and not posting much. You always know where to find me, right? I'm always on the PMS thread even when not on the general boards.

My mom got out of the hospital on Friday, so over a week in. She's still pretty weak, as is to be expected.

I'm glad to hear your mom is out of the hospital, so other than being a little weak, is she feeling better?

Ooohhh you went away this weekend, did your DH take you somewhere nice for Mothers Day????

Oh I'm fine.....we're getting our pool installed this week...so I've been mentally preparing myself to see my back yard trashed for the next month or so! Once the pool is in, then we have to put up a fence...then of course we need to extend our deck , so I'm going to be pretty busy the next month or so! On top of that, I need to start getting ready for my trip in September to visit the Mouse!

So anymore surprise, last minutes trips to WDW coming up???

My mom seems to be doing ok. She has a dr appt today, so she should know a bit more at that point. They might need to adjust the heart med that she is on.

A pool? Fun, even though it will be a hassle for awhile.

The earliest my next trip will (possibly) be is September. Shugardrawers invited me to go along with her and her friend, so I'm trying to convince my DH. Would be a cheap trip since we'd be sharing a room and would have the free dining. My biggest expense would be the airfare, which isn't a lot.

We went to Maine for a Bar Mitzvah. It was a lot of driving for the amount of time we were there, but it was fun!

My 13 yr old (14 next month ) finally started liking sports a couple of years ago. My DH and I have always called him and our 9 yr old Frasier & Niles (from the TV show Frasier). Infact my family thinks they are food snobs because at our oldest sons 13th bday his favorite gift was dipping oils from Williams Sonoma Wonder where they get it from?

We're having a huge DIS party at POP mid-September. I'm hitting the party on the 16th! They've got a bunch of stuff planned for what appears to be the middle two weeks of September!

I wish we had some sunshine right now, it's very grey and gloomy in MA right now, thunderstorms are predicted for some point in time today!
