I hope you are feeling better and that the results of your mother's hospital stay were positive. You sure have been busy these last few months. The plans for next year's Disney trip sound fabulous. I've never stayed at WL but is it absolutely on my list.

12 days at Disney for Christmas. Wonderful! and I love the resorts you have chosen. We stayed at WL in 2008 and really enjoyed it.

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile....It's been a very busy week here!

My mom is still in the hospital. Her blood pressure is very low and the doctors can't figure out why. She's been confused and disoriented at times as well. Prayers are much appreciated!

I've been having some tests run as well to find out why I formed a kidney stone in the first place. I suspect that the fragment is still here though because I have been having pain in my side the past few days.

Lots of little things going on as well...DH has some work issues, the girls are arguing way too much, I've got cabin fever, e.t.c.

My DH and I need to find some time this weekend to sit down and talk about the year ahead. I know that we're only 7 days into the new year, but I don't want life to get chaotic and overly busy like it was for most of last year. We need a plan and something in writing. Keeping that plan in our heads doesn't seem to work too well.

Todays Plan:
* School
* Surveys
* WATP
* Visit Mom?

We have a wedding to go to tomorrow afternoon.... One of my best friends is getting married! I am so excited for her and her hubby to be! They are having a brief reception afterwords and once the reception is over, we'll take the girls out to eat somewhere.

On Sunday, we'll head to church and then spend the day relaxing and getting ready for the week ahead.

Tracy, I will definitely say prayers for your mom. I am so sorry that your mom is still in the hospital although that is the best place for her to be given what she is going through. I am thinking of you all and sending lots of prayers and hugs out your way.

I am also sorry to hear you are having pain in the kidney area again, maybe the tests will give some insight. Just hang in there my friend.

I think having a plan in writing is always a good idea, I agree when you have it on paper, its easier to stick to and remember!

Enjoy the wedding, that is great news for your friend! Have a piece of cake for me!

My mom is still in the hospital, but may be transferred to another facility today for physical therapy. She is doing somewhat better physically, but is having some major issues with confusion and agitation. I guess she's been giving the nurses a really hard time and has not been cooperative at all. We're not sure what is going on...Prayers for her and for our family would be greatly appreciated.

Over the next two days, I will be doing a 24 hour urine catch back to back. This + the blood test should help the doctor figure out why I formed a kidney stone in the first place. I had an ultrasound and x-rays done on my kidney last week to make sure that the fragment from the procedure is gone and that there are no other kidney stones present. I've been having some pain on that side so I'm not sure the fragment is actually gone. I'll find out at my appt. in two weeks.

* School
* Surveys
* Finish laundry
* Disney Planning

Speaking of Disney planning, our rooms are booked at VWL and at BCV for our December trip!!! Very exciting!

Snow, snow, snow. I am soooo ready for spring! I miss the sunshine.

No updates on mom...She's still in the hospital. She was scheduled to have an MRI this afternoon, but we haven't heard anything from the doctor.

I'm almost done with my second 24 hour urine catch. I hope that the results of the catch + my blood tests will tell my urologist why the stone formed so that I can try and prevent it from happening again.

Got school done, 4 surveys done (met my goal), got a workout in, and I've got a jump start on laundry for tomorrow.

Tracy, I am saying prayers for your mom, I hope you get some answers soon. How is your dad coping with all of this so soon after his surgery? You are all in my thoughts.

I hope the urine test shows what is going on with that kidney! And I hope that pain goes away. Like right now! Just sending good thoughts and prayers out to you on that one too.

I need to get back on surveys, I swear I got off when ds had his surgery last summer and now its been six months. I hope my rewards are still in there someplace!

I am with you on the snow thing. We've had a mild winter up until the past couple of weeks and now we are making up for lost time. January and February stink. Unless you are in Florida!

So exicting that your plans are set for December, a new ticker is always a good thing!

My mom was transferred to a nursing home for physical therapy. She'll be there at least a week, maybe longer if necessary. My dad went to see her yesterday and said that she became very angry when he told her that she couldn't go home just yet. I guess the doctors are trying a new combination of medicines to get her stabilized. I hope they start to work for her soon!

We've got a super busy weekend ahead....My DH has several jobs he needs to do, plus he has to go to Michigan for work on Sunday. The girls and I are planning on taking down the Christmas stuff and doing some cleaning. I also need to work for my DH and try for some surveys at SR. We'll probably visit my mom on Saturday.

I weighed in this morning and the scale showed a 2 pound gain. I'm not surprised...I've been eating the stress away this week.

Could you tell me what you mean when you talk about doing "surveys" Do you get paid for them?

Thanks Linda! When I talk about surveys, I'm talking about the 7 surveys that Sunshine Rewards has that you can do daily. I usually make a couple of dollars a day and use that money for our Disney trips. If you want more info, please let me know.

The past few days have been busy here! Lots of traveling and work things going on. We took yesterday off to just hang out at home and not do too much. It was nice after the busy weekend.

My mom is currently at a nursing home for physical therapy. I'm not sure if her new meds are working or not. She may just be extra cooperative and compliant so she can get to go home faster. LOL! My dad has a meeting with the case worker tomorrow to see how much progress she is making and when she will be able to come home.

* Return rental car
* NCIS/ NCIS Los Angeles

Tracy, I hope your Mom gets better soon and they get her meds straightened out.
Prayers for your appt that the doctor has some answers for you also. Pain has a way of draining you. Glad you were able to take some time to rest.

Love your new ticker. We stayed at WL a couple years ago and it was very nice. We just had a regular room but some friends have stayed in the villas several times and they love it.

Stay warm and safe from the snow and ice. I think about you all every time I hear of a new storm coming through.

We are in a deep freeze again! I can't wait for spring!

We had a meeting at the nursing home where my mom is at. Physically, she is doing quite well. Her vitals are strong and back to normal. She has to walk with a walker though because her balance is still way off. The doctors are concerned about her memory lapses and have said that she will need someone with her 24 hours a day when she comes home. They're not sure if that will be temporary until she is back in familiar surroundings or if it will be permanent if the memory issues persist. We're not exactly sure when she will be coming home, but we'll be working on a plan of action this weekend to figure out how to have someone at the house with her while my dad is at work.

* School
* Surveys
* Work for DH

We don't have a whole lot planned for the weekend ahead. My DH has to work on Saturday and we have church on Sunday. I have my doctor's appointment on Monday and hope to have the results back from all of my tests.
