Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

I think it's a great idea to track your food and get used to it before doing the points. That way you will know what to expect and see where you can cut back. :thumbsup2

Great news on getting paid for those 2 overdue accounts! Hopefully that third one will appear soon as well. :wizard:

Thanks Amy. :hug: I forgot to answer your question earlier. :blush: We haven't see Christmas Carol yet. We may take the girls on Monday. It just depends on how busy my DH is work wise.

Weigh in did not go well this morning. :( It showed a 2.4 pound gain. I think a lot of it is water retention because my ring has been super tight the past couple of days. UGH! :(

I am super sore from yesterday's workout.:scared: I didn't sleep well last night because every time I moved, it hurt like crazy! :headache:

Tracking food went well yesterday. It actually caused me to watch what I was eating. ::yes::

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

That's it! The only thing I have scheduled today. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!:grouphug:

I saw Christmas Carol last week, and I thought it was creepy. It's funny to see the mixed reactions on this movie. My son and husband liked it, I didn't.

Tracking food is a good idea, because it's so easy to lose track of what we put in our mouths through the day...when we're aware of our choices, sometimes we'll make better ones

Hope you have a nice Friday

Thanks Deb. :goodvibes I think my goals for the rest of the year will be to get more movement in and to track my food and adjust accordingly. I'd like to lose a pound a week if possible.

Today's Food:

B: 1 piece of peanut butter toast
B2: 2 Breakfast Burritos, 1 bite of hash brown, 1 apple pie (DH brought home breakfast.)
L: none
D: bowl of chilli, 6 crackers, cheese
S: mashed potatoes (2 servings, trying to calm my tummy)

Apple pie for breakfast? You're my kind of girl! :goodvibes

Being sore from working out is a mixed blessing, isn't it? It's good because you know you worked hard, but soooo painful! Hopefully you'll recover soon! :wizard:

Hi Tracy
Sounds like DD had a good birthday. Mine did also. Today is oldest DS' birthday. Since we leave before he gets up, I'll just leave his presents in the living room for him to find.

Way to keep pressing on. Keep up those work outs.:cheer2:

Yay! that you all got paid for those two accounts. That certainly is a blessing. :goodvibes

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

We have a lot going on today.... Errands, shopping, e.t.c. My MIL is having Thanksgiving at her house tomorrow and she hurt her back yesterday so we'll be helping clean and do whatever shopping needs to be done. I also have shopping of my own to do.

Not feeling all that well today. :( I feel like my body is fighting something off. Really tired.....

OSU plays Michigan today....GO BUCKEYES!:cheer2:

Have a nice Saturday!:grouphug:

Food for Today:
B: 1 breakfast burrito
L: Chicken Caesar Salad, bottle of water
S: 3 servings of Doritos :(
D: Veggies sub (3/4 foot long) and 1 serving of Doritos

Listen to your body and take it easy today. You don't want to be sick for your trip that is right around the corner!

trust your body and rest when you can. I know it's hard with so much to do, but those things will get done --

how are you feeling today? any better, or the same?

I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving..I'll check in and see how you're doing when I get back - if not before then...Disney for me this Thanksgiving.

What's your plan this week for exercise if you feel okay?

Thanks Amy and Deb. :grouphug:

I'm still not feeling well today. I went to bed early last night, slept 9 hours (VERY unusual for me) and then took another hour long nap this morning. We're getting ready to head to my MIL's for Thanksgiving in a bit and I may end up napping there too.

Not much else going on....Very glad the BUCKEYES won yesterday!:cheer2: They gave us Northeast Ohioans something to cheer about!:cheer2:

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!:grouphug:

ooh, hope you're feeling better as the day goes on :\ don't stress your body and rest when you can

How did your early Thanksgiving go? Hopefully you are feeling better today. :wizard:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug: I am feeling better today. Still a little bit tired, but feeling better. :thumbsup2

Thanksgiving dinner went well yesterday. It was different though. Not sure why, but it was just a different experience.

This is going to be a more relaxed week for us....DH doesn't have to work at the mill in the mornings and the girls and I are doing minimal homeschooling. I am hoping to get some Christmas shopping done this week. My DH's family decided that everyone will exchange gifts so I need to add to my Christmas list. Budget-wise, I only have $179 left. I still need to buy DDs one gift each, my DBro, my MIL, and some stocking stuffers and lottery tickets as well. I may have to be creative here! ;)

I'm going to try and get a workout in tomorrow....All depends on how I feel.

Hope everyone has a good evening!:grouphug:

Glad to hear that you are doing better. Looks like you are doing well with tracking your food and I admire your gusto in tackling the exercise!

Maybe your kids can make a craft of some sort for your MIL for the gift exchange. Maybe paint an ornament. Or, you can buy an ornament and put a picture of the girls in it. Personal, simple, yet inexpensive.

Thanks Lesli. :hug:

I'm working on gift ideas for my DH's family. I really want to stay within our $400 budget. I have $179 left and 10 people to buy for. I already have gifts for the ladies in DH's family. I bought Burt's Bees grab bags earlier this year and I will split those up and put them in cute gift bags. I just need to get to the dollar store and buy some small gift bags. As for the guys, I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Speaking of Christmas, I need to take DD9 to Target today to buy her sister's Christmas present...Snow Buddies on blu-ray, digital copy, and DVD. It's on sale for $19.99 and I have a $10 coupon to use. She'll be able to get her sister's gift for a little over $10. :woohoo:

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling
* Target
* Library
* Coffee with my friend
* NCIS at my MIL's house
* Order DH's client's Christmas gift from Dale and Thomas

That's about all from here. Have a great day, everyone!:grouphug:

Food for Today:

B: Green Apple, water
S: apple cider vinegar, 6 cubes of cheese, 1 handful of pretzels (gotta love the exact measurements, right? :laughing: )
L: Huge salad, crutons, cubed cheese + Italian Dressing
D: 1/2 Big Mac, 10 french fries, 1 bite of pumpkin pie

I know you will do great with your Christmas shopping, you always find the best bargains!

I'm glad you are getting to enjoy a relaxing week this week. :goodvibes

Thanks Amy!:hug:

Yesterday was a good day. My MIL watched the girls for awhile, I had coffee with a friend, and NCIS was good!:goodvibes

Today, I am going to try and complete my Christmas shopping. I bought my Christmas gift from my DH ( a Vera Bradley hipster in Mediterranean Blue) and some ID wallets as Christmas gifts this morning. Here's what I hope to accomplish today:

* Buy (2) Walmart gift cards for DDs' wallets
* Buy items for MIL's basket
* Buy DBro a movie he wants
* Buy gifts for BILs and nephews
* Buy gift bags for SILs' gifts

I have $171 left to accomplish all of this. We'll see how it works out.....

I also need to make a pumpkin pie for our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. We're going to my grandma's house so it should be fun.

That's about all from here...Have a great Wednesday!:hug:

I used to be able to get my shopping done before Thanksgiving. Not sure what happened to those good ole days! :rolleyes1 I hope you get everything done today so you can avoid the hectic shopping season!

Thanks Amy. :hug:

Today's Food:

B: 3 cinnamon rolls :rolleyes1

L: spaghetti (1.5 servings) with grated cheese

D: salad, grilled cheese sandwich, 4 jalapeno peppers

S: ice cream cone

S2: 2 small bags of pizza Combos :blush:

Confession time......

I didn't get any Christmas shopping done today. :( Well, except to buy a Vera Bradley for myself! :rotfl: I just wasn't in the mood to get it done today. I'll have to schedule shopping for another day....

Making the pumpkin pie for tomorrow right now...

Have a great evening!:goodvibes
