Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

You are doing great earning all that extra $$ for your trip! :woohoo:

Thanks Amy. :hug:

My DH is still working on the car today. I hope he gets it fixed soon...We've got a parade and lots of shopping to do today!:banana:

Today's Plan:

* Parade
* CVS, Kohls, Wendys for lunch, Outlet Mall
* Birthday party
* Walk at the park

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Happy Memorial Day!:grouphug:

Sounds like a fun day! Hope DH gets the car fixed soon. :wizard:

Tracy, my son so wants to go to Cedar Point someday! I'll see how I do on the coasters at Universal before I commit to that one.;)

I hear you on the salty foods, look on the bright side though, I am up 8 pounds so it could be worse for you!

Great job on homeschooling and getting all that money saved for WDW. Call at 7:00 a.m. on the dot for your 90 day, now that its back to that timeframe, the ADR's go a lot quicker. I was able to get most of what I wanted but didn't score Le Cellier (although I don't even care to be honest) or Chefs de France.

Here's to a good week!:hug::thumbsup2:goodvibes

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

My DH was finally able to get the car fixed yesterday in time for the parade!:banana: I am so thankful that he is so mechanical....Not just on cars, but around the house as well. He has saved us a ton of money over the years.:thumbsup2

Today's Plan:

* SR
* Homeschooling (last week for the summer!!!)
* Paperwork :scared:
* Walk if the weather permits

We finally figured out our ADRs for our trip!!:woohoo: On June 15th, we'll be up early and on the phone to hopefully get these reservations. :wizard:

Day 1: Nothing (eating out with family)
Day 2: Kona Cafe
Day 3: Chef Mickeys
Day 4: Boma
Day 5: Cape May Cafe
Day 6: Sci Fi Drive In
Day 7: Chef Mickeys (????)/ TS at Saratoga????
Day 8: Crystal Palace
Day 9: Tutto Italia (lunch) Le Cellier (dinner)

What do you think? Any suggestions? I'm not sure if I want to do Chef Mickey's twice during the trip or not. Has anyone eaten at Saratoga Springs' TS? (I forget the name.)

Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

Sounds like you had a good weekend! Trip planning is so much fun! I love your ADR list!

I still haven't had time to sit & 'digest' SR, but hopefully soon! You do so well at it! CVS here still isn't open , but still says 'soon' at least.

Tracy -- Your ADRs sound wonderful. I have eaten at Artist Palette at SSR and at the TS restaurant there, and both were delicious. Howard grew up going to Cedar Point and says it was so much fun even back then. I feel bad that our kids have never been there. I am so glad you had such a great time.
So, what is SR?

BTW, how is it going this week in trying to reduce your sodium intake? I have to be good about that too. I hope you are having an awesome week and that the girls are getting very excited about summer vacation! :banana:

Your ADR list looks good. I love Boma's. Never eaten at Chef Mickey's. Are you planning to do it for breakfast or dinner. I would see about eating at which ever park you plan to be in or another resort TS. Unless y'all love it. Then I would say definitly eat there twice. :thumbsup2

We went to Cedar Point once. I was pregnant, had to pay full price to get in and then they didn't even want me to ride the caroseul. :confused3 I rode it though. and the train a lot. DS was just tall enough to have to pay full price and then got a lot of hassles on the rides over his height. Someone finally told us to get him "tagged" at the main office. That saved us lot of time and hassle, until we got to the water park. There they didn't want to let him ride anything. Without his shoes he wasn't tall enough. Needless to say I lost my cool. We ended up with four front of the line passes for each of us. Since I couldn't use mine I gave one to each of the boys. A new coaster had just opened up and was very popular that our oldest nephew loved. Yes, he had already ridden it twice and then rode it 5 times in a row, up front. He told me I could lose my cool any time I wanted. He was in teen coaster heaven. :cloud9:

Way to go on the gift card from SR. :woohoo:

Hi Tracy,
ADRs look good from here! Chef Mickey's twice sounds good to me right now!

They say Tutto Italia is excellent, we have not been yet but are looking forward to trying it.

Have a good day,
Linda

great ADR's Tracy - i hope you get them all :)
never been to SSR so looking forward to your review ;)

Thanks Julie, Cam, Lisa, Linda, and Tracey!:grouphug:

Today has been a good day so far. We went with my DH to work and then we took the girls to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate the end of another school year. They had the Deal/No Deal game there and we all had a great time playing that. I also beat my DH in Skee Ball so that just about made my day! :woohoo:(Or course, he obliterated my score in basketball. No fair! :snooty:)

Tonight we have our second to last FPU class at church. We missed last week because we went to Cedar Point. :rolleyes1

That's about all from here...Have a great evening!:grouphug:

Go with Turf Club! I love Chef Mickey's but since you are eating there already, try out something new. We love Turf Club, very nice place, we enjoy sitting on the patio there. They have this chocolate lava cake, well what can I say, its to die for! Its also an easy boat ride from DTD and you can check out SSR. Lovely resort and a bit off the beaten path.

Wow, I can't believe FPU is winding down for you. Has it been a good experience that you'd recommend? I sort of did it on my own with his book, and I think he is right on target with his advice and thought process.

Can't believe its end of year for school. :confused3 What happened to this year?

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Today has not been the best of days. TOM is coming soon and I have been super grumpy and down on myself today. :( The one bright spot was going to the mailbox and getting my $50 Disney gift card from SR already!:banana: Another $50 paid down on our trip!:woohoo:

Tomorrow is weigh-in....Food has been awful, exercise minimal, and TOM is on its' way. I think I see a gain in my future. :sad2:

I can't believe we are almost done with FPU! :eek: My DH and I both have gotten a lot out of Dave's lessons. I've noticed that our disagreements about money have been minimal since we have been re-learning how to handle it. (Now, if we could get the contractors who owe us money to pay, we'll be all set! :laughing: )

That's about all from here...Have a great evening, ladies!:grouphug:

Hey Tracy, maybe the scale will surprise you! I get that same way with TOM, it just makes me feel so out of sorts and the bloat doesn't ever help with your body image does it?!

That is great you and your dh are on a more even keel with money. That is the whole point of that class, to take your life back! I am so sorry people can't do the right thing and pay the people they owe. So frustrating, I hope you get that settled soon.

Congrats on the $50 gift card. You sent me that info and I still haven't done it yet. It takes me forever to do anything.:sad2:

Cool, I love getting money in the mail!!! :cool1:

Hopefully the scale was kind to you. :wizard:

Weigh-in went surprisingly well yesterday. I was down .4 of a pound. It's not much, but I was seriously expecting a 3-5 pound gain. Food was not good last week and exercise was non-existent. :( I'll take the .4! ;)

My DH has to work today and then we'll head out for some shopping. It will hopefully be a relaxing day....

Have a great afternoon, everyone!:grouphug:

Happy June 1st everyone!!!:banana: I wanted to celebrate the first day of the month today with some park hours, but Disney isn't cooperating yet. ;) I need to see the hours to finish planning my ADRs (which I will be booking in 14 days!:yay:) so I hope they are released soon! :goodvibes

Today's Plan:

* Walk
* Go see UP
* Work for DH
* Clean the house

We never got the chance to talk about our goals for the month of June so I am hoping we can do that after my DH gets home from dropping his uncle off at the airport.

My DH has a wedding to deejay this weekend so more money for Disney!!!:woohoo: He got a $100 tip at the last wedding, but we'll probably have to use that on tires for the car. That's okay we need new tires and God provided the extra money. We'll take it! :thumbsup2

That's about all from here...Have a great Monday!:grouphug:

Hello! Happy June 1st to you also. :flower3:

I'm glad the FPU classes have helped. That's a very good thing. Yes, people not paying what they owe. I just don't get the concept of not paying your debts. :sad2:

WooHoo for $$ in the mail. :woohoo:

Let us know how you like the movie. For some reason I'm just not to sure about it from the commercials.

and the weight loss? Awesome! :cool1: You go girl!:thumbsup2

Hard to believe it is June already!

Hopefully your week is going well so far. Are the times out yet? Trip planning is so much fun!! I think almost 1/2 the fun of a trip is in the planning.

Have a great rest of the week!
