Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Hey Tracy! Hope you're feeling better today! And I hope all went well with your mom's tests.

As the others have said....now that your DH knows what to expect, I'm sure he'll ROCK the test next week! :banana:

Thank you so much, ladies!:grouphug:

We left the hospital with more questions than answers yesterday. :( The doctor has decided to run some more tests on my mom and we should know something by early next week. This waiting thing is frustrating and hard! :(

So how did the rest of our night go? Well, after picking the girls up from my MIL's house, the car started acting funny, the washer overflowed, the girls were being disobedient to us and argumentative to each other, I ate my frustrations away, and my DH was called @ 3:00 a.m. this morning because there was a problem at work. Did I also mention that our puppy went potty in this house while we were cleaning up the mess from the washer? UGH. :(

My DH is re-taking his test today on 3 whole hours of sleep and a lot of stress to boot. Please pray that he passes this test today.

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling
* Visit mom
* Library

The one good thing is that we did file our taxes yesterday. That's one less thing to worry about. :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! :grouphug:

:hug:sorry to hear you didn't have a good day yesterday Tracy.:hug: I hope today went much better for you. Praying that DH was able to complete the test. :goodvibes

Thanks Lisa. :hug:

My DH passed his test yesterday!!!:cheer2::banana::woohoo::yay: We decided to celebrate by going to TGIFridays for dinner. Dinner was yummy, but dessert was kind of gross. :(

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling
* Laundry
* Library
* Walk

We can make our ADRs next Tuesday!!!:banana: I am so excited!!! :banana:

Weigh-in is tomorrow and I probably won't be happy with my scale. :blush: I haven't been careful with food at all this week and did some major stress eating the past couple of days. I will be drinking lots of water today and I will try my best to get back on track.

I did workout twice yesterday though. I did Power 90 Fat Burning Workout and we walked for about 45 minutes after dinner last night.

Hope everyone has a great day today!:grouphug:

Gee, Tracy, I HATE days where everything goes wrong! I totally understand your stress eating!!!! Me, too!!!!

HUGE CONGRATS to DH!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I WILL put the box in the mail to you next week! It's spring break for DS20 & DD, so hopefully I will have some time to breathe!! I am such a slacker!:rotfl:

Hopefuly the scale won't be too unkind. Your workouts are GREAT!

Have a wonderful weekend! Praying for your mom! (& always for you! )

Hey Tracy!

So glad to hear that your hubby passed his test! I'm sure you're both relieved that its over.

That's so exciting that you can make your ADR's next week. It's so much fun to plan and do all that preliminary stuff. I always like to have a vaca or getaway in the planning stages.

I hope everything goes well for your Mom with the medical testing. I certainly know the stress that is involved with all that. Waiting for the results is always tough. I will definitely say some prayers for her (in fact I already have).

You've done great with your exercise, so don't worry too much about the scale. I'm sure you can feel some difference in the way your clothes fit. I always love that feeling when the waistband starts to get a little bit loose.
Keep up the good work...you've done really well this year!

Tracy, that night before last sounds like one heck of a night! Stress eating can and does happen to all of us, but you got back on track. If the scale isn't showing a loss, don't despair!

So what was the gross dessert (I never knew there was such a thing ;))!

I am so glad your dh passed his test!

But I am sorry you didn't get any answers with your mom's tests. I will keep praying for you and your mom, the waiting is always so hard. Just hang in there and keep praying and hoping. :hug:

So what ADR's are you thinking about?

:woohoo::woohoo: DH passed the test!!!!!:woohoo::woohoo:

:banana::banana: for ADRs!!!!!:banana::banana:

as for the scale???? I want a smilie to do this :badpc: to a scale.

You'll be okay. You had a bad week and you are already back on track. Don't let it discourage you. Because you have been rockin with those workouts!:cheer2:

Yes, I want to know also. What could have possibly been gross? I've had not good, or odd combinations, but gross???? Was it this kind of gross:scared: or this kind:crazy2:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was kind of a rough day. :( We're having car troubles AGAIN. :( My DH will have to work on both cars this weekend. After a long and stressful week, that's really the last thing that he wants to do. :rolleyes:

I am so excited for ADRs!!!:banana: I'll be up bright and early Tuesday morning. :sunny: We're looking at:

* Kona Cafe
* Chef Mickeys
* Big River Grill and Brewing Works (no ADR necessary)
* Turf Club
* Le Cellier
* Cape May Cafe
* Narcoossee's

I haven't figured out the CS meals yet, but I've got some time to figure that out. ;) My DH loves Wolfgang Puck Express so I'm sure we'll be eating there several times. We'll probably also check out ASMU and maybe the Poly if they have a CS with Tonga Toast.

The girls and I spent 3 hours cleaning out the old car and the garage. The car is totally clean. The garage is about 50% clean. My DH has to go through all of his materials and tools for work and that will be a huge improvement.

That's about all from here. Have a great weekend!:grouphug:

P.S. I gave myself a free pass from weigh in this week. Regularly scheduled weigh-ins will resume next Friday.

Tracy, last I heard Captain Cook's at the Poly (which is cs) does have the Tonga toast. You can double check allears just to make sure though!

I am sorry about the car troubles, that is so not what you need or your dh needs. Its always something isn't it?

I have been to all of those places but Narcoose's and next special meal we do, that's the one I want! Steak and Lobster, mmmmm. :cloud9:

Have a good weekend and I hope you have time to relax and have some fun!:hug:

Love all of your ADRs Tracy. I haven't eaten at all of them, but the list looks great.:thumbsup2 Are they all for dinner? or are a couple of them breakfasts?

Sorry DH has to work on the cars again. Hopefully it won't take him long. :wizard:

Have a great weekend. :flower3:

I pulled a Goofy yesterday. :goofy: I was walking into the living room to close the front door and I tripped on the puppy's bone. I fell on my right knee. All of my weight on my right knee. The knee that I hurt in gymnastics hundred of years ago. UGH. It hurts. :( I also pulled my hamstring on my left leg when I fell. I'm going to have to take it easy the next few days. It doesn't hurt to walk, but it does hurt when I bend my knee.

Since I won't be able to workout for a few days, I'm really gonna have to watch my WW points.

As far as the car goes, it's still messed up. My DH is going to get the temporary tags and a battery for the other car today and hope that works. If it does, that gives him some time to work on the Buick as he can use the other car then. Sometime next week, he'll be driving our Lumina into the junk yard to scrap it. I'll miss that car! It lasted for almost 200,000 miles. :thumbsup2

Today's Plan:
* Work for DH (DONE)
* Finish Laundry
* Get temporary tags and battery
??????

That's about all from here. Have a great weekend! :grouphug:

*************************************

Amy~ Thanks for the info on Captain Cooks!:goodvibes I'll have to check it out on All Ears. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I think my DH will love the Tonga Toast!::yes::

Lisa~ All of the ADRs are for dinner. We usually split CS meals at breakfast and lunch and then eat a later dinner. We're only planning on being in the parks for one day so this schedule should work quite well. :goodvibes

Isn't it always sad to get rid of a car you have had for so long. :sad1: I cried when I had to junk my first car that I bought brand new. I drove it, my DM drove it and then my oldest DS drove it for his first car. 17 years and 235,000 later I had to drive it to the junk yard.

Tracy, I was just on Simple and the daily clicks are back. A bit different but they are back. :thumbsup2

Tracy....before you take the lumina to the junk yard, check to see if there is a charity you can donate it to. There is one here that takes all vehicles running or not, and they fix or sell or part out, and the proceeds go to provide transportation for cancer patients & their families. And, you get an automatic $500 tax deduction, or, if they auction it off in whole or in part & they get more, they send you a receipt for that amount.

Hope your knee starts feeling better soon & that your weekend improves!

Thanks Lisa and Julie. :grouphug:

My knee still hurts today. :( Why don't these things heal quickly like they did when I was in my 20s? ;) I really want to keep up with my workouts, but that's probably not a good idea right now. I think I will wait until Tuesday or Wednesday and try a WATP mile and see how the knee fares.

Not much going on today. My DH is working all day and since the second car isn't fixed yet, no church for us today. :(

I am so excited for Tuesday! I will be up nice and early to get those dining reservations done. Please send :wizard::wizard: for Le Cellier. That is the one and only restaurant that my DH requests and we had to cancel it last year when we shortened our trip. He really wants to eat there this year so I'm hoping we can get a reservation with no problem. :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

I hope you get your reservations at Le Cellier! :wizard:

Wow, that is great that your car lasted that long. :thumbsup2 My dad retired from GM so it makes it extra nice to hear it was a GM! ;)

Yay for DH passing his test! :woohoo:

I hope your run of bad days are over.

I hope your knee feels better today Tracy. Be careful with it. :goodvibes

pixiedust:pixiedust:Lots of pixie dust for Le Celliers! pixiedust:pixiedust:

I love making ADRs. It's so much fun.

You asked over on Amy's threads about ADRS online. Yes, you will get email confirmation and you are very smart to do Le Celliers first.

Tracy, I am hoping you get that Le Cellier ressie! Lunch is almost always easy to get so if nothing else you can do that. I will be logging in first thing tomorrow to see what you get.

Tonga toast is so rich and sweet, but its great to share!

I am sorry about your knee, I have done that before. I remember doing that once tripping over dd's folded up stroller and it hurt so bad I cried! Take it easy and ice it up.

200,000 miles is impressive, I hope you can get the Buick working. Saying prayers for that because the car is a vital part of the family!

Okay...So the alarm goes off at 5:45 a.m. and I'm wondering...Why is the alarm going off so early? :scratchin Then the realization hits. :idea: ADRS!:banana:

I log into the Disney site and wait. And read the DIS. And wait. And read the Dis some more. And wait. :rolleyes1

Finally! It's 6:00 a.m. Off we go........

Nope! :( Even though I plugged in our reservation number, it didn't update right away so that we could start making reservations. So at 6:01, 6:02, and 6:03, I am nervous, nervous, nervous! :scared:

Finally around 6:04ish, I am able to start plugging in some info...Of course, I head straight for Le Cellier. :car: Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Plug in all the info, hit the submit button, and..............

BAM! Le Cellier is available!!!! I start happy dancing exactly like this. -> :yay: (No, not really. My knee still hurts. :( It does make the story a bit more entertaining though. ;) ) I immediately check out and get the confirmation number. I feel like a kid at Christmas. :santa:

My DH reminds me that I need to finish making ADRs. The man loves Le Cellier, but he doesn't want to starve the rest of the week. :faint:

So, I get back onto the ADR system and make reservations for the rest of our table service locations for the week. And celebrate some more.:yay: We got everything we wanted!:cheer2:

So without further ado, here are our dining reservations for our free dining trip to WDW in September:

9/12:
Arrive at WDW, eat dinner offsite with family, or at POP if they can't make it

Looks like a great list there. I didn't know that a movie is shown on the beach at Beach Club. Where do you find that info?
