Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Good for you tackling the Shred! Hopefully you can throw off whatever cold or flu is trying to overtake you.

Way to power through that workout! I hope you are finally starting to feel better. :wizard:

Tracy, great job doing Shred! I hope your congestion eases up a bit, that is no fun.:hug:

When I stop buying, I just think buy today and risk not getting to WDW. Its all about budgeting for those Disney trips you know!

Keep up the good work!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

I finally signed up for Facebook!:banana:

I'm kind of lost trying to find my way around, but if anyone is interested in friending me, please let me know.:goodvibes

Have a good evening!:grouphug:

Catching back up........You are an ispiration. Sounds like you are really striving to make some great changes this year!

I am on Facebook and would love to friend you.

Thanks Lesli. :hug:

Okay...Big news in our house yesterday!!!:banana:

1. I signed up for Facebook! I have been thinking about it for months and finally decided to take the plunge. If you're interested in "friending" me, please let me know.

2. We have a new addition to our home! A Labrador Retriever puppy!:dog: I've got a picture of her up on Facebook. She is such a cutie! Any suggestions for names? So far we have Abby, Kelsey, and Zoe.

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling
* Rewards Programs
* Work for DH
* Watch NCIS x 2
* Workout? (NOT Shred!)

It should be a no buy day today. Yesterday was not since we got the puppy. ;)

Have a great day everyone!:grouphug:

Woo hoo, congrats on the new puppy! New pets are such fun :goodvibes

Have fun on Facebook and also beware! It can be a real time bandit, which is why I have resisted it so far. All my friends are on it and they insist they will draw me in someday. (Cue old Simpsons episode with the family chanting, "One of us! One of us!")

Congrats on the new puppy! What color is she? Sending you a PM so you can find me on Facebook...

You can still do a workout on your own without killing yourself with Shred! I'm sure you know all the different arms and leg exercises, you can always put together your own routine. :thumbsup2

Congrats on the new puppy! PM me about facebook. Also your address again as I have a small springtime something for your curriculum.

Glad things are going well. I really need to get into the rewards again, but not until the stupid desktop is back working right. Keep working out...you're doing AWESOME!!

Congrats on the new addition to your family! I'm sure your kiddos are thrilled to have a new buddy! The new doggie can also be a life lesson in responsibility for them. Good luck with her!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

I managed to get a cardio workout in today.... 25 minutes...:banana:

So far so good...Looks like a no buy day!:thumbsup2

The puppy is doing quite well. As a matter of fact, she is napping right now. :goodvibes

Food:

B: orange (1 pt)
L: Tuna + Mac and Cheese (11 pts.)
S: 1 granola bar: (2 pts)
D: ? Going to my MIL's house

Activity Points Earned: 2 (Can these be carried throughout the week or just the day of the activity?)

Would be nice to see a loss on the scale on Friday!:goodvibes

Have a great evening!:grouphug:

We had a yellow lab when my boys were small...she was a great family member. Her name was Arielle -- let us know what you decide on for her name. I love their fluffy, puppy coats the first year, so soft and fluffy - before they get their adult coat.

You're going to just adore your new addition! Labs are often lickers...and can be obsessive about it....have toys handy if she takes to licking a spot on the carpet or something...my girl wore a hole right through it from obsessive licking! Didn't realize what was happening at the time, but learned!

They are such tolerant and loveable dogs...you can't go wrong with a lab!!! Our beagle is the same way...just a total love. (i've got 3 dogs - a jack russell, a beagle and a sheppard/malamute mix)

Tracy, I am so glad you all got a puppy! There is nothing quite as fun as a new little furbaby to spoil and love on. I bet your girls are so excited.

I am going to see if I can find you on facebook and then you can link up with me. I love all those names, I have a good friend who has a dog named Zoe and I always think that sounds so cute when she calls to her!

A puppy would be so good for you guys right now.

Good job at getting that exercise in.:thumbsup2

saw the pic of your puppy on FB - sooo cute :)
great job on the workout & another no buy day :)

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was a good day. I got a workout in and it was a no buy day!:banana:

Yesterday's Food:

B: orange (1 pt)
L: leftover tuna mac (11 pts)
D: chili (18 pts)
S: Cheerios (6 pts.)

Total Points: 36
Daily Allowance: 30
Activity Points: 2
Points over: 4
Weekly Flex Points: 35-4: 31 Flex Points left

Not too terribly bad. I was stressed out after dinner last night and munched on 3 cups of Cheerios (no milk) to alleviate my frustration. I guess if you're going to stress eat, Cheerios are an okay choice.

I am up to $10 now at Simple GPT. :banana: They cut out daily clicks and then brought them back, but they only brought half of them back so earnings are only about a $1 a day or less.

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling
* Take down Christmas decorations (Puppy loves them!)
* Workout?

That's about all from here....Have a wonderful Wednesday!:grouphug:

Great job getting that workout in! :thumbsup2 I think the activity points are only for the day you do the activity and the flex points are to be spread out for the week. Listen to me, I've never even done WW, but I've learned so much from everyone else on WISH! ;)

Any name for the puppy yet? She is SOOO cute!

I'm sure the puppy will love "helping" you take down the decorations, hee hee. We didn't even bother to do a tree this year because SheiKra is still in that crazy playing kitten stage even though he's 8 months old now.

Sounds like the Cheerios were a good, relatively healthy snack option!

Progress on the day....

The indoor Christmas stuff is down and packed away. :banana: All that's left is for my DH need to put everything in the attic and we'll be all set. As far as the outdoor decorations and lights go, those will come down once the ice and snow melts off of them. ;)

I did Shred Level 1 again this afternoon. I like the workout, but I think it's going to be a once or twice a week workout. I'll probably add a Power 90 X and/or a FIRM DVD into the rotation. Once the weather warms up, I'll add walking in too.

So far I'm at 10 points for the day. That includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack. So I've got 20 points for the rest of the day 2 Activity Points as well.

Have a great evening!:grouphug:

*********************************************

Amy~ Thanks!:hug: That's what I thought about the activity points. We ended up naming the puppy, Abby. :dog:

Barb~ Thanks!:hug: I have always loved Cheerios as a snack. We got 4 boxes for free after extra care bucks at CVS last week!:thumbsup2

You're doing great! Good job on the workout and the food. As for the stress eating, at least it was well measured and wasn't out of control on junk.:thumbsup2
