Good morning friends,
We had a good weekend, but it seemed way too short! With all of the busyness of the next few weeks, I was kind of hoping to get more rest and relaxation in than we did.
Yesterday, we got school supplies at Staples for $.50/ each/per girl. They each got (3) 8 packs of pencils, (3) pencil sharpeners, (3) pencil boxes,(10) folders, and (3) bottles of Elmer's glue for $.50!

We are hoping to get to
Walmart today for crayons, markers, paint, and notebooks and we should be done for now.
I am currently looking for art and music curriculums for the girls. I found a few I am interested in, but the price is kind of high.
Speaking of school, I am almost finished with the Epcot unit! Here's what I have so far:
* The girls will learn about their trip to all of the countries of Epcot on their first day of homeschooling. They will apply for their passports, check airfare, and read books about airplanes.
* A few days later, we will visit an airport and see how things work.
* We will have a mailbox (shoebox) in the front room where they will receive their passports. They will have to check daily and see if they have arrived, just like in real life. (We found pretend passports at Holcombs to use.)
* On the day they leave, they will pack their suitcase (a manilla folder) with the clothes and toiletries they need (pictures from a magazine) along with money and their passports.
* Over the course of 3 weeks, they will visit each of the Epcot countries starting with the USA (as a starting point of reference), then to Norway, the other countries, and then they will end up back in the USA. Along the way, they will color and label maps, color the country's flag, read about the country, learn to say hello and goodbye, and then get a stamp in their passport. I may also have them make a postcard of each country to send "home".
* Once they "arrive home", we will have an Epcot celebration where we will have food from the different countries and maybe have grandma and grandpa come over to hear about their trip. Then, if I time it correctly, I can tell them that for all of their hard work and effort, they have one a trip to WDW, and we'll leave for Orlando the next day.
I still have to work on worksheets and things like that, but I am so happy to have the structure of the unit done.
July Goals:
1. Exercise Daily: 9/31 (FIRM Ultimate Calorie Burner...455 minutes so far)
2. Healthy Breakfast: 8/31
3. Eating Stops 2 Hours Before Bed:6/31**
I haven't made my to do list yet, so I'm not sure exactly what I am doing today yet. The next few weeks leading up to DD4's birthday (July 27th) are going to be super busy with work and planning for 3 parties.
Hope everyone has a great day!
