I was TRU at 10:00 this morning not realizing they were already having holiday hours and opened at 9 and they were already out I asked and they said that all stores in our area were already out and didn't know if any were left online. Which by the time I got home they were out also. No rainchecks either. One salesperson said to check back tomorrow as their truck didn't come last night but should tonight. Problem is I won't get off work until after 5 due to a staff mtg. after school. I did pick up the princess castle and a couple of dolls to get the sleepover set for free ($25 value) so it wasn't a wasted trip.

I brought the ad to Target and was able to get them to price match on 2 of them (I really wish I took a picture of the looks on their faces when I handed them the ad!)

Already had one stashed away from earlier this year when they were $2 at Walmart, so I have one for donation and offered one to my Mom to give to a co-worker who could use a little help.

Tried to price match at Target but they wouldn't let me. Something about because TRU quantity had to match theirs or some crap like that. I think they just didn't want to price match because it was such a low price. They had to bring 3 people over to talk it over lol

I think they would have come up with ANY reason not to price match. I think it's dumb that companies price match but then change the rules when they see fit.

The whole reason they offer this is to get people in their stores. It really works! I just wish they would carry more in stock or offer rain checks. I guess it's not meant to be for me. I really wanted them for Toys for Tots.

I tried for the price match at Target and was told I needed to spend $35 to get Toy Story Operation for $1. I tried to point out several times the ad did not state the game was $1 if you spent $35 but you would get the bonus gift card for buying that dollar amount in Hasboro games. They were not budging and would not do the price match. I will be calling the corporate offices tomorrow to let them know this is not how their price match policy is written and I very disappointed the policy seems to be up to the interpretation of a handful of store associates on weather or not they will honor. In addition my store also had the Toy Story Operation boxes on the very top shelf almost as a deterant- I wouldn't be surprised if all inventory suddenly goes to a stock room. I am a loyal Target shopper- this is s major FAIL on customer service and following their own price match policy

We were able to get one Operation game for Toys for Tots. We will be heading back to TRU today, hoping to get some more, as well as a couple other games for our kids.

I'll be trying to price match at Wal-Mart later today. I'll post back on how it goes. Unfortunately, I only have the print out from the online ad. I hope that is enough.

I thought mine (ordered with shoprunner) was getting cancelled yesterday because it would not pull up... But I ended up clicking the link in the email and it is saying located in stock? So maybe I will be getting it? I don't know... I guess if it gets cancelled, I really am not out anything... Just hoping it does go through, since it is a good deal.

If anyone wants this at a decent price without all the hassle, Big Lots had it for $5 yesterday.

When you are doing such a drastic price match always print out the store's policy and take it with you to the store. If you are given hassle ask for the front end manager and review the policy with them. Usually this will cut through the double talk and get them to honor their own policy. If that does not work then I would call corporate, there is no reason for these stores to not honor the policies their corporate offices establish!

Our Walmart didn't have them. Called Target and they said they had them and as long as I had a weekly ad they would honor it. Got there and then they said no, because the ad is not a weekly ad but Nov 6-10. Their corporate had called them this morning and told them not to honor.

Meijer has them and I will see if they honor. Not really sure if I want to drive across town just for this...

I was there when they opened and grabbed five. They were gone within seconds of the doors opening. I'll give my son one and put the rest up for birthday presents.

I got 3 at my Walmart yesterday. They tried to give me nonsense about it, but I don't accept nonsense. It is a recurring problem with my Walmart, hate that place, but I knew if I didn't jump yesterday morning I would miss out. Today I went to Toys R Us, and as I suspected they were out. Glad I got my 3, wish I got more.

I went to Walmart tonight and asked if they price match TRU. She said they did. They price match with stores 20 miles away. They were more than willing to price match but they didn't have any. I don't think it's a regular item there. They had Tow Mater operation and the reg. operation.

I will try a different Walmart tomorrow.

I arrived at TRU 8:50 and there was a line of 15 people in front of me. There was no major grabbing and I managed to get what I wanted plus some of the other boards games for $5 and $10 so my total came out to $35 and I was able to get the $10 GC.

FYI- the game has been removed from the site. Guess they didn't know what a sensation they'd cause?
