Does anyone know if 2 children, ages 7 & 9, can sit individually in one ride vehicle together, or will they be forced to sit together side by side? Thanks in advance for the help! princess:

I don't understand the question. Two people sit on one side of the car, and two more sit in the same car but facing the opposite direction. The two pairs cannot see each other. :confused3

I mean, do two people have to sit on both sides together, or can it be one on one side, one on the other?

Yes, they can ride single rider status. But it's incredibly rude to do so. They are forcing the line to hold back just because they don't want to sit together. No one else will be sat with them if they ride single rider.

Probably on the same side. It is a very popular ride and they want to fill all the seats.

due to the extreme popularity of the ride assume that you will NOT be able to commandeer an entire ride vehicle for only 2 people. they will fill every seat in an effort to keep the line moving.

they would most likely put another party of 2 on the back side.

Honestly, just asking about protocol here. I'll decide if I'm going to be "rude" or not. Thanks for the advice, though!

does TSM have SR? regardless they would more likely be apt to put each kid with a Party of 3 to fill up the final seat on a pair of vehicles.

It doesn't. Regardless, a single is often paired with another single or an odd-numbered party.

If the parents are with them, they could certainly sit on opposite sides with each parent. If the parents aren't with them, why would they want to do this? I know, none of my business....

ETA: News to me that single-rider is there, and that they don't fill the vehicles. Oh well, it has been over a year for me on TSM....

It does have single rider but you need to know where it is and how to ask for it. Since the OP wants to be rude, well I'm not offering up that info! LOL

No they don't fill the vehicles anymore. Probably due to special snowflake syndrome.

Please don't slaughter me for asking what might be a dumb question but this is our first theme park with kiddos. On a ride such as TSM, what do you do when your party is two adults and three young (4,2 & 2) children?

You can fit a third little one between or on the lap of an adult. There are only two shooters on each side though, so somebody would miss that part.

With the twins, I think you'd want to do a rider swap

depends on how the dynamics would work.. would one of the kids NOT want to shoot? then they could prolly squeeze the 2 younger with one parent and the other parent rides with Big Sibling.

but having younger siblings, i can't see where that would fly? somebody is gonna end up pouting big time. or throwing a temper tantrum. or both....

OP - If the kids in your post don't want to ride together, the CM's will fill in the empty seats with single riders or third person from a party of three. They can't demand their own ride vehicle.

To the other person who asked a question, if you have a party of 5 you can side in two groups, a group of 2 and a group of 3. Just be aware that one of the people in the group of three doesn't get to play.

Thank you Mkebound for your RATIONAL answer. I have three kids, neither of which want to be the one to not be able to play. If only other posters on here were not so eager to accuse, I would have gotten around to explaining that. Either way, I'm certainly going to ask if the odd one out can ride alone. FLAME AWAY!!

I sense some nasty feelings on this thread. I'm leaving so that your anger doesn't transfer to me. Thank you.

I don't understand why you would want the kids to sit on opposite sides. Part of the fun of the ride is trying to beat the person next to you.
