In your experience, how quickly do the Fast Pass+ reservations get taken for TSMM? I'm guessing the chances are slim to none for me to hop to DHS around noon and still be able to snag one as a 4th FP?

Availability runs out weeks in advance for TSMM, so unless you got extremely lucky with a cancellation, then no chance.

None. Even in August, when crowds were light, there were no TSMM FP+s available the day of. On one of our days, by mid-afternoon (2ish?) CMs at the kiosks were announcing that the only ride FP+s left were for Star Tours. Other than that, there were only shows available.

We were at DHS last Tues and Thur, both "slow" days and could not get TSMM 4th pass. We did get RNR for 4th on both days at decent early afternoon time, and I think TT was also available. We were limited by having Frozen singalong fastpasses midday before we could get our 4th FP. Good luck

Yeah, that's what I thought. Guess I'm changing my day plans. Can't do TSMM just once!

Ride SB. The SB posted wait times are over-inflated. This summer, we hopped into line when the wait was posted at 50 minutes one day, 70 the next. On the first day, we were back outside 25 minutes after entering the queue. On the second day, we were to the merge point in 12 minutes. I'd read the SB times were inflated, but I had no idea just how badly they're misconstrued.

We got three rides each day we were there...SB at RD, FP+ mid-day, and SB in the late afternoon/early evening. :thumbsup2

Don't change those plans. There are other options for riding without FP+. The line gets really short when Fantasmic is in progress.

In early June, we were able to ride Midway Mania 4 times in about an hour at 9 pm. The posted wait was 75 minutes, but the actual wait was 15 or less each time.

Definitely good to know. I did go ahead and change our plans just because we were spending way more time at Epcot than either DH or I will want to and we both really like DHS (I know, I know...it's a skeleton of what it once was =P) But I will keep the standby option in mind! Especially since we'll be doing the late Fantasmic on our evening there. The early Fantasmic might be a good time to catch a ride on TSMM! Thanks =)
