Is the ToyStory Building at ASMovies nice? We have never stayed there but my son loves Buzz and Woody! I looked at a map and it looks pretty close to the food court, is it as good of a location as it seems? Any pros or cons let me know! Thanks!

We stayed at ASMO Toy Story section last year and loved it. All the icons were so much fun. We had a room on the first floor facing the courtyard so we could see everything when we came out our door. The room was very nice and clean and the walk to the pool and the foodcourt was not long at all. We really enjoyed it there. The bus service was also good and we did not share buses at all. This was in August during free dining. I hear so many complain about sharing buses, but it has never been a problem for me. I have stayed at All Stars 3 times. Have fun!!!

I will second the wonderful stay at ASMo. We were there in June 2006. The kids loved it. The walk to the food court was not bad, and it was a very convenient location. Bus service was EXCELLENT. We loved our stay there!! I have two boys 10 and 6 and they loved all the icons too!!!:goodvibes

:) We stayed in the "Woody" building.... We actually love this resort... Hopefully this time we will get the "Buzz" building.. though the inside f the rooms are all the same, we would just feel as though we were staying in a different place.... ;)

Just be forewarned that requesting a certain section does not guarantee you will get it. We had requested it back in 2005 and ended up in Dalmations---which was ok, but really wasn't what my 4 year ds at the time was into.

This time we are staying at Pop and all he cares about is that they have a slushie machine at the drink station! :lmao:

Yes, that is very true. We requested Toy Story, but were put in Mighty Ducks at first. The room was in bad shape so I asked to be moved. Then we were put in Toy Story. I have heard it is good to call or fax the hotel directly to reconfirm the request about 3 days before. I didn't do that last year. Not sure if it really helps.

Just to make sure you are aware, Toy Story is considered "preferred" now, so you have to pay the extra $10 or so, and yes, even though you request it you might not get it, but since you paid for a preferred room you will be in Fantasia, Dalmations or Toy Story regardless, which are all nice.

We were there in September of 06 and really enjoyed it. We were in the Buzz section, facing the parkinglot, which was fine by us b/c it was easy to get to our car. We were very close to the pool, food court and the bus stop too. My 3 year old at the time was thrilled to be staying in "Buzz and Woody's House." We also never had to share a bus or wait very long for a bus to arrive, but we did drive quite a bit as well.

Wow, they have 3 preferred sections now?? That just leaves Mighty Ducks and Love Bug as non preferred??
