Toy Story 3 Opens THIS Friday (June 18, 2010)!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone plan to see it???????

We're waiting until the weekend of June 26th for DH's birthday celebration. He's been anticipating the release of the movie almost as much as our children.

Without seeing the movie, I've already fallen in love with the character Lots - O' - Huggin' Bear ...

He is soooooooooooo cute! Plus, purple is my favorite color. Does anyone know if they have the plush character for sale at WDW??????? I want one!

DD7 likes the character Mr. Pricklepants ...

However, I think she really just likes saying "Mr. Pricklepants".

Recently, we watched the Toy Story 3 Food Network Challenge. Someone did a cake that looked exactly like Mr. Pricklepants. There was a cake with Lotso on it too.

My son turns 10 on Friday. We're having a Toy Story 3D party at the local Regal with 10 of his friends. We're all excited! He gets to start the movie!

My 2DS are super excited to see this!! They have been going crazy since they started putting out the posters.

We have plans to see it 3 times in the next week!!

Both my boys had a long love of Toy Story and it is dear in my heart. I have spent many years watching it 10 times a day!

We have the free tickets from when we got the great PATF/TS/TS2 deal. We'll just have to upgrade them for 3D.

We are so excited about Toy Story 3! I am also planning a TS3 party at the theater for my daughter and her friends. The kids are going to dress up like their favorite character, see the movie together and have pizza afterward. DH and I are definitely going to see it in 3D...hopefully at IMAX! Can't wait!!

It's getting great reviews already.

I saw the Food Network Challenge...I felt sorry for the guy who made the Buzz cake.

I also saw the stuffed Lotso at the Disney Store on Sunday, he is cute, but he had a mean look on his face. Like he's mad. He would have been cuter with a smile.

However, I've noticed that none of the theaters in my area seem to be showing the film in 2D-- I can only find 3D showings! I'd really prefer to not spend the extra money.

We have the 3-D choice or not at midnight Thursday....... But, I've been waiting for this for 11 years..... We'll have to see!

We're taking our 3 year old on Saturday night and can't wait! Its just going to be the 3 of us since he hasn't had much one on one time with DH and I since our 2nd child was born. I'd like to see it in 3D but I'm not sure if my son would keep the glasses on so we'll probably just see it in 2D.

we can:

1) see it Friday afternoon in IMAX 3D

or

2) see it Sunday afternoon in DD3D and meet Woody & Buzz at the Ziegfeld in NYC

Saw it last night. Definitely worth the wait. Tangled's first trailer is on it. Looks good but I like Mandy Moore. The movie is a great mix of funny & heartwarming & is a perfect way to end the series(there won't be a dry eye in the house at the ending.)

Wow. I'm the only "no" vote so far. We'll probably wait for video. Unless the reviews are outstanding. We might go see it in the theater then, but I doubt it. We have to really want to see a movie to want to go see it in the theater, and the Toy Story movies have never been our favorite Pixar films (we like them, they just aren't at the top of our list). We'll likely just wait for Bluray.
