Does coupon work for Target online?
I doubt it, since I dont think they can take coupons over the internet.
When the coupon goes live (should be toward the end of this week) I will post it, unless someone else does before me. But I wanted to start a thread because the deals on it have already started showing up. And as before its good to get the information out there and shared amongst us so we can get the best deals possible, right?
In the TRU Big Toy book, they have the price listed at 34.99 for the TS3 combo (unless they have a lower price when they release it). With it comes a free TS3 clock. You can also get a $10 TRU gift card when you purchase $40 or more in Disney movies, so if you combined with another Disney movie (I am planning on getting the Mater's Tall Tales which releases the same day) you will get the gift card and the clock. There are also TRU specific coupons for TS3 and other movies (like Mater's Tall Tales) where you save $3 when you purchase that movie and another Disney DVD 14.99 and higher. (YMMV if your TRU lets you do their coupon with the clock but in my case I can use the Mater's Tall Tales coupon and it shouldn't affect it) Plus I am sure Disney will have their own coupon for TS3 and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a Mater's coupon too!

Anyone hear what the Disney Store is doing? Curious if they have any deals with the 2 movies coming out.
I actually don't really need the special version from Target. We have a Buzz that I got at the Disney Store.
Sorry that I don't have time to check on the details, but maybe one of you can. I got an email from Best Buy that included the following:
Bring home the long-awaited animated classic with this Best Buy exclusive plush pack filled with cute characters from the movie.
Disney Store:
If you head to the Disney Store prior to Tuesday and Pre-Order the Toy Story 3 Blu-ray Combo pack (includes DVD, Blu-ray, and digital copy) for $26.99, you will score a $10 off ANY item coupon (or a $20 off $40 coupon) to use on any purchase! Plus, youll snag a FREE 3-D pictograph!
* Head into your local Disney Store and pre-order the BluRay Combo Pack for $26.99
* Plus, snag a 3-D Pictograph (FREE with purchase above)
* Use the new $8/1 coupon found here
* Pay$18.99
I went to my local Disney Store this afternoon. They are not accepting the $8 DMR coupon on the TS3 pre-order. They said they checked and they cannot use the coupon because it needs to be applied to stock on hand, and since there is no stock on hand right now, the coupon cannot be used for the pre-order purchase. The rest of the deal with the coupons and the 3-D pictograph is available with the pre-order.
I really wish TRU would just put their ad up. The bluray cannot be $34.99 or else they wouldn't sell any even with the preorder!.
This was the first time I did a preorder with TRU. If you don't end up buying it there do you get your $5 back or just lose it? Even if I lose it I will still come out $5 ahead going with even Best Buy. Ot I could lose the $5 but for a few more dollars get the toy at Target. I don't really need the toy as dd is almost 14 anyway. I just hate to pay the same price as Target by getting it at TRU and not getting the toy. KWIM?
I don't see any reason why the $8 off would not work for the Target exclusive. I think this was brought up earlier, and the coupon isn't specific to restrict against exclusives like that.
As for Toys'r'us, no you can not take advantage of the TS3 preorder while buying TS3. If you're pre-ordering it, you can't be buying it at the same time. You need to do it before it's released. So it would work with another DVD/blu-ray (if there's another you want before Tuesday) but not with TS3
My local newspaper isn't in yet (I wake up way too early sometimes I think...) but looking online it looks like TRU doesn't have a weekly circular ad this week, just the Big Book of Toys ad. Maybe there isn't one? In which case TS3 Blu-ray/DVD would be the $34.99 price with the free clock, but keeping in mind you can get the free clock and the $10 giftcard for a future purchase if you're buying two movies (we're picking up Mater, so I know we'll get the gc for that). So right now I'm thinking if I go with TRU is $35-$5 preorder = $30 - $8 coupon = $22 - $5 campbell's rebate = $17 - $10 future purchase = $7 (plus taxes) with the free clock real cost, but $22 upfront. Of course that's thinking that I'm paying full price for Mater. I think I may go this route and then let the Elf on the Shelf bring the clock for our little ones later on in the year.
