I don't see any reason why the $8 off would not work for the Target exclusive. I think this was brought up earlier, and the coupon isn't specific to restrict against exclusives like that.

As for Toys'r'us, no you can not take advantage of the TS3 preorder while buying TS3. If you're pre-ordering it, you can't be buying it at the same time. You need to do it before it's released. So it would work with another DVD/blu-ray (if there's another you want before Tuesday) but not with TS3

My local newspaper isn't in yet (I wake up way too early sometimes I think...) but looking online it looks like TRU doesn't have a weekly circular ad this week, just the Big Book of Toys ad. Maybe there isn't one? In which case TS3 Blu-ray/DVD would be the $34.99 price with the free clock, but keeping in mind you can get the free clock and the $10 giftcard for a future purchase if you're buying two movies (we're picking up Mater, so I know we'll get the gc for that). So right now I'm thinking if I go with TRU is $35-$5 preorder = $30 - $8 coupon = $22 - $5 campbell's rebate = $17 - $10 future purchase = $7 (plus taxes) with the free clock real cost, but $22 upfront. Of course that's thinking that I'm paying full price for Mater. I think I may go this route and then let the Elf on the Shelf bring the clock for our little ones later on in the year.

I assume you can when you pick up TS3. Actually I'm more worried about them saying no to the $10 GC since you need a $40 purchase for that. Does anyone know if they'll honor that with the coupons or how they decide when to give you the GC?

Oh and I was at TRU yesterday to do the little bag decorating and parade with the kids and they had those Disney coupon things sitting out by the movies, so I was able to pick one up to use for $3 off on Mater + one other Disney movie. I doubt they'll do $3 off mater + 1 and $3 off toy story + 1 in the same transaction but it'd be nice wouldn't it?

But I can't find the rebate form anywhere. Anyone else seen this?

Can anyone answer my question as to what happens to the $5 I put down on the preorder at TRU if I don't go through with it? Do I lose it? I know I did get $10 off BATB and TS3 is $10 more than at other stores, so even losing the $5 I will come out ahead, but would like to know. Also do I have to cancel or can I just not go in and pick it up? Will they charge my credit card I used to preorder the full amount?

In my paper, there was a coupon in the Shopko ad for $5 off ANY Rayovac purchase if you were also buying Toy Story 3 (it does not appear that you have to use the coupon at Shopko either) -- Stack this with the $5 Soup rebate and the $8 off coupon, and it makes for a pretty good deal!

In my paper, there was a coupon in the Shopko ad for $5 off ANY Rayovac purchase if you were also buying Toy Story 3 (it does not appear that you have to use the coupon at Shopko either) -- Stack this with the $5 Soup rebate and the $8 off coupon, and it makes for a pretty good deal!

I am getting really annoyed with the coupon! I can't get it to print.

I've installed the loader and it just keeps reloading the same page when I click "print coupon"

Hope you figure it out. I had the same problem with Beauty and the Beast and never got it to work-it said I had already printed the coupon. I called DMR and they offerred to mail one to me (wonder how long that would've took). I finally had to have a friend set up a new DMR account and print it for me. What a PITA! Now I am afraid to try this Toy Story one.

Have you two tried making sure that it's going to your default printer? It took me awhile to figure it out but that was my problem

As far as I know , you lose your $5 (but you got $10 off earlier, so it's still a good deal).

YOu don't have to cancel...you just don't pick it up. TRUs is NOT holding a copy for you. On other movie deals like this one, some TRUs have run out of copies, even for people who pre-ordered.

They will not charge your CC.

For those that preordered TRU, I am still not convinced they won't offer a special price for it for the first few days. My TRU electronics employee that I go to for my questions said that he thought that maybe they would come out with an e-mail or at least an in-store special for the first few days for Toy Story-but that isn't a definite, just his opinion (and hopes!).

But even without it, I think I may still get one copy from TRU and get Mater so that I will get the gc and the free clock. I have got to sit down and figure out if that is the best deal or not though. It would help if I knew what the prices are going to be at TRU for sure!

I went to TRU to reserve my copy of TS3. They had the following promotions:

1. Receive a $10 GC with any $40 purchase of Disney movies (sign on display)
2. Receive a free TS3 popcorn tin with any $30 Toy Story purchase (this was in the Big Toy Book)

I bought TS1 and TS2 BR/DVD combo. I got $10 off TS1 and I got a $10 TRU GC. When I pick up TS3 I am going to see if I can use the $8 off coupon and then pay for it with the $10 GC.

I did not see the promo for the free clock. Is that only if you buy TS3 and Mater Tales?

ETA: I also used my Rewards R Us card so I will get 10% back on my purchase!

TS1 and TS2 were $29.99 each.

I just found the clock in the Big Book. That's nice! I will make sure to ask for it when I pick up TS3!

I returned a presale at TRU before. Husband and I both had the same idea for a gift for each other. It was easy with my receipt. If they don't have a better deal I will just go back for my $5.

I'm not able to print the toy story coupon. I just bought a macbook and it keeps making me install the coupon printer thing. ugh! This is so frustrating!!! I never had any problems printing these coupons with my desktop computer.
