toy story 3....3d or 2d???

we are going to go see toy story today and am wondering for those who saw it, was 3d worth it for this movie? I just hate paying more unless the 3d stuff is really a big part of it.

I can't compare one with the other since we saw the 3d movie.

The story/movie is so good that I don't think the 2d/3d matters...except that it makes the visuals much more impressive.

I don't remember any cheesy, gimmicky 3d effects in the movie...the 3d was so well done that you don't really notice it (in a good way). You forget you've got the glasses on.

I'd guess it would compare to listening to music on a cheep boom box versus a really good stereo.

I saw it in 2d and it was phenomenal. My dd the film student says that she heard that the short at the beginning was much better in 3d other then that no comments that one is better then the other.

I saw it in 2d and it was amazing.

I just dislike 3d, though.

Saw it in 3D last night and it was awesome. It is much more like the Disney Parks 3D than all the other recently released 3D movies. The short in the beginning was amazing and I cannot wait for it all to come out on DVD.

The movie was so good the theater was clapping at the end.
