Does anyone know where I can get 3 of these? I can order them from Drugstore.com but I am not sure they will be received in time. I just found out about them and they sound like so much fun.
Thanks!
Becky

My kids had some of these that were made by somebody with PVC piping. Then they wrapped different electrical tape around them in different spots to decorate them, they were cute, if you have a picture of them and know of someone that could cut pvc pipe, that could be an option!

I made about 20 of these w/my cub scouts last summer....just have the store where you are buying the one long pipe cut it into small sections, buy some connectors and let the kids create their own. We had several different kinds made and they had a blast going to "war" afterwards. My own kids have their 3 still up in their rooms and will even continue to interchange "parts" as they think about new designs.
For 10 boys, we made 2 each (a small one, a large one). It took only two of the long thin PVC to cut into sections and a handfull of connectors. I bet it didn't cost me more than $7 total for the 20 we made that day. No glue was used so they could "refine" their designs.

We saw these last week at a local train & hobby store. Similar to what my kids made in the past with the PVC pipes. Maybe if you have a hobby shop in the area, they might carry them.

Good luck!

DD (5) has one but all the marshmallows keep getting stuck inside after a few times, she has to blow so hard to make them shoot out that she spits inside and the whole gross thing gets all gummed up.

I saw them at our local Fred Meyer store (owned by Kroger). Don't know if you have anything similar in your town.

Lots of kids have these at the campgrounds we stay at. I have learned to hate them. We step in sticky mini marshmallows all over the place, and track them into the RV. Yuck!

I bought one at a craft store last year. We made several more for Christmas presents. We didn't even bother with all the fancy tape. I think the "big" kids had more fun than the little kids. Everyone was fighting over them. We didn't have to worry about cleaning up the mess because the dogs got to the marshmallows first. When we bought the gun we were told to use store brand marshmallows instead of name brand. The name brand ones are usually a little softer and don't shoot as well.

:rotfl2:

If you can't find them...a longggg time ago - my "guy" cousins taught my sister and I how to make paper airplanes and stick straight pins in the tips (helps them fly better;o) and throw them at each other. I think we did get in trouble when we were caught, though :rotfl:

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to let them make them. Sounds like that would really be fun.
