This topic may have been covered before, but I could not find any discussion on it. We just returned today and used yourride. Ronnie was our driver and he was great. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The only downside was that he could not park right outside the terminal. We had to wait for him to walk back to where his car was parked then come back to get us. This added at least 15-20 minutes. Is this the policy for all towncar companies? We flew America West and were in terminal A. Does anyone know if we flew Delta (terminal B), would it be less time for them to retrieve their car? Part of the reason we choose the towncar is the quick service to our resort. As we waited for Ronnie to return, we saw several Mears buses departing, which made us think we could get to our resort about as fast now as the towncar. We also are thinking that maybe we should rent a car from now on. It just seems like a inconvenience now.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

Terminal B would not have been any quicker. We arrived on Delta and Ronnie, from yourride, picked us up. He explained that under the new security measures, town car services can't park in the arrival area anymore. They have to park offsite in the parking area.

As for Mears, I doubt if you would have gotten to your resort any quicker. After letting the Mears person know where you are going, you have to wait for a bus that is going to your resort area. That could take up to a half hour. Then the bus will make numerous stops, not just the one you want.

I've done mears and it took a good hour and a half from the time of arrival to get to the resort. I did yourride, and it took 45 mins.

With airport security, the town cars cannot park and leave their vehicle out front. I have seen the drivers park and stay near the car. But I doubt that was for long long in itself.
All drivers leaving their vehicle have to park off site and come back in. Everyone I saw was really hustling to do so.
When we used Mears, we spent a lot of time waiting for everything. Waiting in line to get the vouchers/tickets, waiting a long time to have the van show up, waiting while we stopped at other resorts, ect. A lot of downtime and not much information provided and not even a smile from anyone. They must not like their jobs.
And we experienced the very same as Cassie wrote for her last line.
