Town Cars Help With Luggage?

This subject came up in one of the threads about FL Tours, and I'm just curious how they all work. Before 9/11 our driver met us at the bottom of the escalator and helped us pick up our luggage and then carried to the car that was parked right out front. On our second trip, after 9/11, the same exact driver picked us up and met us at the exact same place. Only this time, he told us he could no longer park out front, and we had to meet him someplace. He gave us directions. So, we had to go and get our luggage, and then meet him outside. It was about the same place that Mears picks up. Is this how everyone does it now? No more help with the luggage?

We used Tiffany and Darcy (driver) waited with us at the luggage carousel and he and my husband picked the luggage off the rack. we all went outside w/ Darcy carrying the heavy suitcase and then he sprinted to get the car and was there in just a few minutes. Very good service...Darcy remembered us from 2 yrs prior and remembered what me and my DH did, great conversation..very nice guy!!
