I was just wandering who out there might have story about the Tower of Terror at MGM good or bad....I rode it for the 1st time Oct 2006 and let me tell you I will never do that again.....The times before when we had went I had to miss it cause we could never get our schedule to work out with the crowd so last year we decided we were gonna ride it no matter what we had to sacrafice..Now before I go any futher let me say there is not much out there I will not ride. I have ridden massive roller coaster and all kids of hair raising rides all over the us but people this ride did me in...It's not so much that it scared me it's just that I almost fainted during the first drop...then I panicked because I almost fainted then the rest of the became like a person fighting for their life in the middle of the ocean on a fishing boat during a hurricane. I was begging God please let this be over and each time it dropped(not knowing how many more it would)I wandered if I would survive it. I came off the ride and for the 1st time in my entire life I knew what people meant when they said that their knees were knocking together and they were trembling all over....I have never had anything scare and shake me up that bad in my life..a wild bear could chase me thru a venemous snake pit and into a crocodiles territory and I would be calmer...Let's just say it ruined the rest of my day and I will never ever ride it again....My husband is counting down the days till he can get another fast pass to jump on it...oh well we have an insurance policy....My daughter on the other is like me she had enough of it to do her for the rest of her life....I'm sure there are some of you who love it and some who don't I was just interested in your experiences and if anyone had the same one as I.....If you like it please enjoy and if your there when I am you have one less person to worry about being in line in front of you....lol...:rotfl:

I'm so sorry that it ruined your day. I had a similar experience on Misson Space. It didn't scare me or anything but it messed my body up... we'll just leave the description at that.

I love any kind of freefall ride though. TOT was okay but the teenagers screaming their heads off in the back row kind of ruined the experience. Plus I had to ride it by myself because my 7 year old (who rode Mission Space and RnR twice each mind you) refused to ride TOT so DH and I had to take turns by ourselves. I missed having someone I knew to share the experience with.

I hated it...the rest of the family LOVES IT!! Go Figure!:confused3

I've been on every major ride but Tower of Terror and Misson Space. I have no desire to ride either. MY DD12 loves Tower of Terror and keeps trying to talk me into going on it, she's already started for our trip in December! I don't know, just the idea of being raised and dropped kinda freaks me out a little. I can do roller coasters without a problem but I've always had a problem with ferris wheels and cable cars. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I rode this last March for the very first time with my two sons who wanted to go on badly. When we got off, they both said that they would *never* go on it again. They still hold true to not wanting to ever go back on, so I doubt any of us will.

As for me, I didn't hate it, but I wasn't a huge fan of how much my butt kept coming up off the seat. That part freaked me out more than anything. My DH didn't even go on, which was a good thing!

Sorry to hear it screwed up your day. This is why I won't go on any ride that makes me nauseous, no matter how curious I am about the ride (Mission Space, Soarin, Star Tours, any 380 movie, etc...)

LOVE IT! My favorite part is when you can feel the heat coming in from outside, right before the drop. So awesome!

LOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!! I wished it was in my backyard. It would get me going in the mornings, better than caffeine. LOL My 8yo thought it was fantastic!!

We rode TOT twice last year and my DS really seemed to like it.:goodvibes Now this year he says there is no way he's ridding it again.:scared1: DH and I really liked it but if DS doesn't want to ride it I guess we'll skip it this trip. By the way DS loves RnR go figure.:p

Road it in 2004 and it was ok no great shakes.

Just back 2 weeks now went on it again with my sons and had a great ride this time. Really enjoyed it. Find it strange it was that different.

Tried RNRRC for the first time and it has the greatest beginning the rest is average but the beginning is the bomb!

I really found it boring. It was like a big pre-show for 30 seconds of action. But, free falls don't bother me. I will never ride Mission Space again. It wasn't scary at all, but something about it made me need to puke.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! They took the old TV series and made it real and surrounded you with it.

I like the free fall, but I will agree with Mission Space, uggh, made me all queasey...

We have always enjoyed it but I agree that the only part I don't like my but coming off the seat. When we rode with my BIL the lap bar didn't really hold me and DS down - so try to sit next to people your size if possible so you can get the lap bar tight! I think most kids come up off the seat, so maybe if you let them know in advance!

We haven't ridden RnR, I guess DS must have been too short or not interested last time we were there. I think we are going to try it in a couple weeks! Mission Space too! You guys are scaring me! I'm excited though, so much new stuff - we haven't been since 2000. I can't wait to get there!

 Love it:yay: :yay: Its my fav as well as my bro and sis' and parents fav too!!!!!:yay: I want to take me DD on it when we go. She is a major thrill seeker. I'm just worried it mght scare her. What's the youngest child you taken on it that has had fun?

We all love it. My DS was so disappointed when they went to seatbelts instead of the lap bar, because he always got good airtime when riding with his chubby mom!

DS was 4 the first time he rode. I remember that he was nervous but he really wanted to do it. We rode, and when we got off of the ride he grabbed my hand and said, "we need to ride it again NOW!" He's kept a running total of how many times we've ridden since then, and it is 70-something. :)

Mission:Space? I've only ridden it once (before the wimp side was added) and it made me queasy. I sit it out, but DH and DS ride it at least a couple of times per trip. They love it.

ToT is my absolute fav ride in all of Disney. LOVE IT! We usually get fast passes, wait in the reg line, then get in the fast pass line several times while we are in Disney. My DH thinks it's very funny that as soon as we get off, I want to get right back into the line! I love how it's different everytime you ride it. Love, love, love it!

That being said, my DS refuses to ride it, and my DD's don't meet the height requirement! As soon as they do, I'm sure they'll want to ride it. At the ripe old age of 3, they decided that the Barnstormer was too "tame".

I loooooove ToT!! I had to miss it last time b/c I was 4 months pregnant and I was bummed. I hope to be able to ride it in May but I have to talk my hubby in to it - he's such a chicken! But, if I don't get to ride it I won't be too heart broken since I didn't put it on the "I definitely have to do this" list, that we all filled out. I put Expedition Everest and Rock n Roller coaster on that list since I've never ridden those before!
