Which of the two attractions would you say is more intense? I might say Tower of Terror.

I give a slight edge to T of T because of the "unknown", plus I have a harder time with drops.

I agree, I rode this 2 weeks ago, for the first time in 4 years, and I was really getting stressed out before the drops!:scared: Than, I realized what it was ALL about, and I accepted the fact I would be dropping NUMEROUS times!:scared1:

I went with Everest being more intense. TOT is simply drops and a momentary loss of gravity. Everest has intense drops and makes you feel gravity even more in the curves. To me, TOT is a great ride, but Everest is more of an experience.

Having said that, I enjoy TOT more than Everest.

I ride Everest and Rock-n-Roll every time... :thumbsup2 but I am scared half to death to ride ToT. :sad2: I am not into the unexpected drop thing. It is DH's favorite, but I just can't get up the nerve to ride it... :confused3

TOT!

I just love the ride, the random drop in the dark is way more intense than EE. Last time I rode I even had my own personal elevator, everybody went right I went left and nobody was waiting!

I think it depends on who you go with.

Personally, they are about equal. I like the build up with EE because of the heights and the sounds. Plus, the Yeti is a good site. Oh, and EE at night is more intense than during the day.

But TOT is great because of the odd serene music in the overgrown terrace is constantly peppered with the screams of the riders inside. Plus, the queue is the best. But if you can survive the queue, you can survive the ride.

But it's more intense if you have some screamers on board. The sillier the screamer the better. My particular favorite is the guy who yells out "I gotta pee!!!" That just makes it more fun!

Oh, and TOT is more intense at night than during the day. The reason why is because when they open the window, even though you're high up in the air, the window opens up to the beauty of Florida... palm trees, pristine buildings, etc. But at night, you don't see that.

for me, EE had me almost throwing up in my mouth - yea, that bad.

TOT only just makes me nauseous and dizzy.

(which is why i wait in the gift shops/exits for DH to finish the ride alone)

I personally find TOT more intense. I was actually afraid to ride it because I hate drops. However, I do make myself experience rides at least once. TOT definitely surprised me and I found I really enjoyed the drops. I have not ridden it at night, but I am betting that is pretty intense.

I can see how EE would be more intense at night though. I bet it seems like the whole ride is in the dark instead of just parts of it. I really didn't mind EE though. I tend to be more of a roller coaster buff, so I enjoyed the drops and going around and around in the dark. Now if only my vertigo would stop and I could enjoy it more than once in a day. :(

Tower of Terror is more intense which is why I like Expedition Everest better

I think EE is more intense than ToT.

However, if you put your head down on ToT, it is much, much, much more intense than EE.

TOT. You just don't know what's going to happen- even if you've been on it before.

TOT for sure.

I LOVE it. I could just ride it over and over. Definitely my favourite ride at DHS!

I'm not sure if I got a "bad program" on ToT, but it wasn't nearly as intense as I thought it would be. I barely got that stomach dropping feeling I always get on drop towers at other parks so I have to give the vote to Everest due to the backwards part.

Same here. The "outdoor" drop rides like the ones at Six Flags and Islands of Adventure are much more intense than the ToT. Those rides are "floorless", your feet are dangling, you see the ground getting closer when you drop, and you have the wind blowing when you go up and down. You don't get that with ToT. It's dark and you don't get the full effect of a freefall. My wife and kids will go on ToT, but they won't go on the ones at the other parks. So that kinda speaks for itself.

Expedition Everest is one of my favorite rides at WDW. Although, I've been on more intense roller coasters, to me, EE is much more intense than ToT.
