Tower of Terror Video- Do you need a Magic Band?

I have pre-ordered Memory Maker and received a card to use when I have photos taken. I know I need to associate my MM to a My Disney Experience Account. But if I don't have a Magic Band, will I be able to scan something to add the ride videos from Tower of Terror or the Mine Train to my account? Or is a Magic Band required?

You can scan your card after Tower of Terror so you should be fine without the MB. Seven dwarfs does not have anywhere to scan so I believe for that you'll need a MB to have the ride video.

Funny thing is, I only have one Magic Band! My last family vacation was July 2013 before the bands were in use. I do have one from my FAQ DISmeet trip last August, so I could use that. The Memory Maker I will be using is for the class trip in a couple of weeks. We are getting MBs for that, but only for room admittance, not theme park entry or Fast Passes, so that MB is not going to be associated with an account.

I thought in some ways it might be easier to use the card only, but I don't want to miss out on anything like the Tower of Terror video. I don't think we will be going on the Mine Train, so that is not an issue.

Do you know if I can use both the Memory Maker card and my Magic Band to get pictures?

Do you have an FAQ on your site for Memory Maker?

If the Memory Maker is linked to its own MDE account, then all you would have to do is go into that account and link your account to it through "friends and family" (check the box that says " this person can share/purchase my photos") and then you'll be able to use your old band and the MM card.
