You could ride the one you like at the same time so you can both enjoy it. The single rider line at RnRC is usually about equal to the wait at TOT.

Neither of those are the ones I'm referring to. The first is when you're rising in the elevator and it stops on a floor - the ghosts motion to you to come to them, everything turns to stars, the window breaks, the door closes, and you start moving up again. The second is when you see the clocks ticking as you're moving forward into the drop shaft. The ghosts I'm referencing in my previous post are during the dropping sequence - some of the ride sequences involve a stop where you stop in the middle of dropping and see the ghosts a third time on a random floor, not on the screen at the bottom where they also sometimes appear. (Wow, you can see the ghosts a lot! )

I think the ghosts that I'm referencing are part of what the original poster was talking about when asking if that's the new lighting sequence. I described it in hopes the original poster will clarify and confirm whether or not what I'm describing is the same as what they saw. We always ride ToT many, many times and did not see this set of ghosts last May or December - the first time we saw them was this March. The floor they are on is not new, but the ghosts are new since I went in December. However I don't think this is the new "lighting effect" because I saw them before the announcement.

I too did see "ghosts" on a random floor, not just the bottom. I had not previously noticed that.

The biggest thing that I noticed was what seemed to me to be new lighting effects, such as more streaking strobe lights on the hallway as the car is moving up to the point that the one line comes down the middle and seperates as you enter the drop chamber. I also noticed lighting on the drops at random intervals.

The ghosts at the the bottom are not new, but I thought you could see them better than previously. I know that this was different than my trips in December, February and 2 trips in March. Could it be effects that weren't working previously??? I suppose. The more you go, the more you notice small things that you don't notice when you go on big trips, like they just recently removed the Indian next to the lassoing Cowboy in Small World above the arch as I believe you enter the all white room. Those type of details you start to really notice the more you visit, and all I know is that the ToT was different than my previous trips. I intend to be there for Summer Nightastic, so that I can see all the changes, but I will also be there again Memorial Day Weekend.

we just got back on friday after two weeks in the world. we were also there in october, and to me it did seem different, but perhaps was just the fact that its a new ride each time. i too saw the ghosts while dropping.
