Are there towels on the beach at VB and/or can you take pool towels to the beach? Just wondering if I need to pack any. Thanks!

Hi Shan,

I don't have a clue about the towels. :confused3

But I just read your trip report from April and you had me laughing so hard I couldn't breath!!! :rotfl2: It was a great report, very informative until.....The Neverland Club and Kona part. When I started to read about your DD4 and the sand....I lost it!!!! :rotfl: My DS is on the couch and turns to me asksing "what's so funny" and I tell him. He's 15 now, but oh those wonderful memories of WDW and him when he was your daughter's age!!! I'm still laughing as I type this thinking about the scene you set!!!! Especially at the end when you mention "the music".

Kids...gotta love them!!!

Thanks for sharing that....it's precious.

Glad you enjoyed my trip report Linda. :goodvibes

I must admit I was HORRIFIED with the way my DD4 was acting, but we weren't even out to the parking lot before hubby and I just looked at each other and started laughing and HARD. She was quite a sight to see! :earseek:

Grab some pool towels on your way to the beach, VB charges for beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas. if you were going to spend a week or so there and want to spend most of the time on the beach , i would go to walmart and buy to plastic chairs and bring them back to the room from the beach everyday, save so money on renting.... maybe that should be our next thread , :rotfl: start a list of dvc members that are departing to pass on the walmart plastic beach chairs to the next dvc member that is arriving :rotfl:

IMHO, the pool towels are too small to use on the beach. I'd suggest you bring your own if you are going to do anything except dry yourself off with them. :)

Have fun!

Okay...I just got back from Vero last Sat. and can tell you that they do have a small towel stand right at the beach access ...all free of charge but they are the same towels as they give out at the pool. So not in any way like real beach towels. You may want to bring your own from home;) They did have the beach chairs and cabannas and such for rent though. I too would rather just buy or bring my own then pay what they're asking for rental prices.

Have a great time Shan!

We always bring our "beach blankets" with us. Ours is about twice the size of a normal beach towel. Of course, you then weight them down with sandals, pails and shovels, beach bags etc. ;)

We keep our beach stuff in a bag, right next to the villa door so that it's easy to grab.
