Towel Animals At Value

Has anyone gotten the towel animals at a value resort? In the other thread it seemed all the hotels were mentioned except a value?

I personally never have at value resorts. But I've heard of quite a few people who have, so it does happen!

We stayed at POP last October for 2 weeks and had 2 waiting for us on the beds when we first opened the door to the room Our maid was really nice, she did a good job and we would tip her each day $5. She would add stickers to the animal each day. We loved it!

I have at the AS resorts. They're usually the little washcloth-things with star stickers on them. We just stick 'em in the window while we're there. Some folks take them, but it never occured to me to take the washcloths. I just leave 'em in the window to brighten the arrival of the next customer.

I have at All Star Sports, All Star Movies, POP Century, and the Contemporary. Polynesian? Nope. Grand Floridian? Nope. I tipped every day at every resort...roughly the same amount. I don't think there's any way to predict it or increase the odds of getting one.

I have had a towel Classic Mickey on one of the beds when I checked in at All-Star Sports.

it does happen just depends on the mousekeepers that day

I stayed at Pop last march and had new towel animals every day !!!! We are staying at POFQ this April and hope Mousekeeping is just as good!

WE stayed at POP last year and had one every day we were there 5 day. Each day we would come back they would be "playing" with DS's stuffed annimals. One day our mousekeeper had the hanging from the curtains in the window. On another day they he/she mad a "Water slide" out of a towel and all the towel animals and stuffed animals were playing in the pool. DS loved it

I have had a towel Classic Mickey on one of the beds when I checked in at All-Star Sports.

We, also, had the classic towel Mickey on our bed upon arrival at ASMo. There was also a welcome card.

We had a really cute towel 'thing' in our room at POFQ. It was there upon arrival. We didn't get anymore after that but the mousekeeper would display the towel critter with my DD's other animals in the window everyday.

We did at ASMu. I have never gotten one the last 5 times I've stayed at a moderate.

We stayed at POP in October for 7 days and received 5 towel animals. We tipped them $3.00 per day (3 people in the room). We also wrote a note that asked for towel animals with our thanks!! We got a tiger, a couple of dogs, rabbit and one other. They are a great memory of our trip there. They also tied up our drapes and had some swinging there and on the ledge. This is a really cool thing that WDW does and I had never seen it at Disneyland. People really decorate the rooms - light strings in the windows, and signs and stickers......
